code calls a javascript function. The function basically does the same as the browser back button. When I add the code and

However, in the original page the gridview just shifts to bottom of the page. I don't know what is causing this to happen. I have other button on the grid which opens the DetailsView in another page, but that works fine. Why grid moves to bottom?

In the page there are two links. When i click the first link it opens a window in a new page. I do this by using the above code.
I am clicking the second link in the page and navigating to another page. Now i am clicking the browser back button. Supprisingly its opening the first link.
How clicking back button is opening the link in the page. I am using c# .net 2005.

But the problem is that I do not know the video format, so I can not predefine object's classid.
I prefer method 1(since I do not need to worry about the video format), But it does not work on IE, I used to point the src to an ISAPI dll which does the same thing as DownloadAtt.aspx(below) and it works. Now I change to Asp.net, it does not work. :(
Does anybody know how to make the method 1 work?

I am using visual basic web developer 2010 express. I have downloaded aspnetflashvideo web control to my toolbox. I then dragged it onto my web form and get the following 'Unrecognized tag prefix or device filter 'AspNetFlashVideo'.' Is there something else I need to do when I added this control to my toolbox?

When user goes to the next page, based on the number of policy selected in the previous page, i hav to change the link button's image respectively. ie if user chose 1 the button should have 'Continue' or if the user has chosen more than 1 then button should have 'Next Policy'. I have used caching in a page that shows user name[lable] and a linkbutton[login/logout].
When user logs in this text has to be changed from code but due to caching on the page none of them is changed.label I can replace with substitution control. Is there any way out to change linkbutton text now.

I would like to do the following tasks but need coaching:From a completely different page (in other words, not from profiles.aspx this time), the user clicks on a photo of a site member; the program picks up the UserID associated with the photo from a database table and saves it to a session variable; completely bypasses the profiles.aspx page; goes directly to profile_detail.aspx and displays the correct person.
My problem: I don't how to bypass clicking the link on profiles.aspx.In other words, I want to go directly to profile_detail.aspx and apply the UserID session variable in displaying the person who matches that UserID. You could say that I need to programmatically "click a link" found inprofiles.aspx.
I am having trouble with a aspx page that when I click on the link to go to the page it opens/starts at the bottom. I want the page to open at the top like normal pages do.
