I have used one div including lables data. Also one asp chart displayed. i want to export the div content with asp chart into pdf file. I tried the plenty of the ways google suggested.

View 2 RepliesI'm having problem with MS Chart chart type column. If there are only 9 bar in the chart like the following picture, then the axis-x label show up properly.
However, there are more than 9 bars bar the chart, the axis-x label wont show up properly, some of them just dissappear.

Is there any way that i can export my asp.net panel to pdf which has dropdownlists , microsoft chart controls like column chart and pie cahrts.
I used itexsharp but it is not working as it is complaining about illegal charecters.
we are able to export GridView, Chart, Panel to PDF but by doing this we can only export 1 control. We ahve requirement of having multiple chart controls on one page (like Report dashboard) with some data in gridview etc. How can we export full page to PDF?

View 1 RepliesI am new to Chart controls and I'm trying to display a label (text) for a datapoint in a chart instead of a value.
I'm using the following code to load the datapoints and to add label information for each point (each label will be different).
But when the chart is displayed all datapoint labels are blank (if I use the first line of code) or the labels are all the same, containing the last rows value (if I use the 2nd line of code).
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Is there something in the .aspx that I need to set?

For example:
I have 3 rows in my grid with the label data: "Cat", "Dog", "Mouse". But the label in my chart is blank for all points when I use the first line of code and when I use the second line of code the label is "Mouse" for all points.
I have Template fields configured for Gridview. The gridview is using an objectdatabsource to bind itself. I have the gridview configured to use Templatefields which then contain tables to display the information. This works fine.
My question is, is it possible to change the text of the label if certain criteria is reached. If "NumberOfDwellings" is 1 then change the label to read, "1 Dwelling". Where-as if NumberOfDwellings has more than one then it's "3 Dwellings".

Is it possible to display or hide a label based on the text rendered in it?
I have a label that will display the value of a control on the previous page. If the value rendered is "0" then I want to hide the label or hide the label and one more label associated with it. (or if the value is more than "0" make it visible.
My problem is when a label's text property has a value without space and bigger than it's width property. -Mostly when i enter a link url- The text of label exceeds the width of label!

I am having a requirement, where I need to have a pie-chart, i need text around pie-chart , the text should be a hyperlink. Ex: we have 3 three fields A,B,C. A's ratio is 30%, B's ratio is 40%, c's ratio is 30% So pie chart gets divided into 3 parts, outside the graph , we should get the label A(in A's area only), when we point on , tool tip should say "A's ratio is 30 %'. View 3 RepliesI have created a stackedbar chart that has the points populated in code behind. Each stacked group consists of 2 series. When I run the chart everything displays correctly except there is only one label on the xaxis. I have tried setting the xaxis label text to the name for each series but all this does is change it to the first series name, and not even under the correct position. Setting the series labels to enabled shows the correct data on the correct bars, but I would like it on the xaxis!
Tried changing the xaxis interval to 1 which seems to be a common issue for people but to no avail. Is it because I'm using a new series for each bar? Is there a way to label stack groups on the xaxis instead of one of the series?
I am working on a function that when i click a button, the chart control can be exported to an excel file. I have tried searching googles, but no post related can be found.
Does anyone know how to do it?

I have an asp page with a textboxes, labels and other controls. I cannot get the .text to change in any of these controls. I click on button which I execute code that I expect to update the text but it doesn't work. Something like Textbox1.text = "Hello" Are there page level properties/settings I should look at? I am perplexed an looking for a place to start. I will provide more information as needed. I just don't know where to start.

This could be anything, such as bullets, carriage return line feeds, etc. Think of anything that you might copy and paste into a multi-line text box from Word Pad, or Word. I then store this information into a SQL Server NText field.When I retreive this information, I need to display it as the user entered it into the text box field into a Literal or Label control (or something else if there is a better alternative) to display it. Problem is that when I display this text into the Text
property of a Literal control everything is jumbled and all characters (bullets) are lost, no carriage returns, etc. One big mush of stuff. If I display this information in the Text property of Label control, I get the bullet characters, but no carriage returns
I have been messing about with this for hours surely this should be an easy task ....... I have a stored procedured that creates a invoice on a Quotetable one of the parameters is a output parameter Invoice Number this is passed to a label. (Label1) This works great.
I then need to add items to the invoice on a item table so my next stored procedure should take the value of Label1 and update the foreign key quotenumber on the itemtable with the value from label1.
On the aspx page I have a small section for a gridview which shows the current quote with however many items on it using the control

I'm developing a stocks evolution chart with Microsoft Chart Controls and I need to show the initial and final dates on the AxisX labels but I can't do it.
I google and found many solutions like set the properties:
Chart1.ChartAreas[0].AxisX.Minimum = InitialDate.ToOADate();
Chart1.ChartAreas[0].AxisX.Maximum = FinalDate.ToOADate();
Chart1.ChartAreas[0].AxisX.LabelStyle.IsEndLabelVisible = true;
Nothing made same differnce.
On the sample below the initial date was Jul 26, 2007 and the final was Jul 26, 2010, this is what I need to show on the chart labels, the others dates don't make difference and can be showed in any interval.
