I am creating a c# procedure that will log error data into a database. What I am looking for is if there is a way to dynamically get a line # of where the error occured, and the procedure name where the error occured?

I am uploading images to database....but only error that I am getting at this point when I run it is for.....

problem is when I enter new mobile number it inserted data into database but it showed this message'You can just register 1 Time' but here it should show 'You have been registered' I mean in both condition it show this message 'You can just register 1 Time'
it never show this message='You have been registered'

the problem is company_array[0] has the initial value of the dropdownlist(company) --select company which is why m getting the error(cannot convert data type nvarchar to int) . I have used the same logic in many places in my project it did not give any error.

I am using VS2008 and oracle 10g ODP.Net. The oracle database that I used in the connection is working and tested it using sql plus.The connection string when used in a GriDView works perfectly. I am using a dropdown list in gridview and populating it from database.However ,i am getting "object reference not set to an instance ..." error even though i have reference.I have two more similar drop down list and they are working perfectly.

so I've set up the table as described.. (seems to be some directions missing with regards to, is identity? and is Primary Key? and what those values are and should be set to for name, description, and price durring table setup) So, ive tried to set the table up as directed and then go on to click DATA which allows me to fill in the table. The first time I visit the site and attempt a database connection I get this error:
Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
But when I refresh, it all works fine. I'm at a bit of a loss. I don't believe I'm attempting to create a database, but I realise that the error may not really have anything to do with that. This is hosted at GoDaddy shared hosting. The database was created and I used an SQL script to create the tables initially and populate the data. My connection string works as I can pull data from the database, but I do have
a feeling it will be a web.config setting that will correct this.

I have a Crystal Report which was running correctly in Visual Studio. I placed the .rpt file on our Test server and I tried to open it from another application. It is pointing to the same database. We are using SQL Server. It failed with this error:
Failed to retrieve data from the database. Vendor Code 102.
How can I debug this without being able to run the report in the other application? That application was written by another company and I don't have access to its source code.
