I am generating Textboxes dynamically on selection of treeview node.
The problem is i have a button and on click of it postback happens and all the date entered in the textboxes and textbox it self is lost ;(
I am using a treeview control and just want to add nodes dynamically. On selecting a node the results based on that node must be shown below.

But whenever the treeview node is selected,its taking a lot of time...The tree view is placed inside update panel...I have an update progress and selection of any node shows the progress for atleast 5-6 seconds.

Then other time it must be WS 101.
It must auto increamented.

Each node will have a drop down list and each item of the list will have a different color. When I create the tree on client side, I will have to select dropdown list accroding to a data table.

View 3 RepliesWhy does microsoft make objects in .NET with incomplete behavioural methods, then expect everyone to use a client side "language" to help complete the methods? I don't wanna have to use Javascript to keep focus on my leaf node in my TreeView after clicking it. I want a server side answer to my question, but if that's impossible I guess I can run ANOTHER javascript bandaid to do this, since I guess Microsoft doesn't have a solution. Oh and By the Way if your going to post an answer please remember I'm using WEBFORMS not WINFORMS. God help people who try to run my app (or any .net app) and don't have Javascript enabled on thier browsers. Does Microsoft own Javascript? Maybe since they rely so heavily on help from the client side to achieve behaviours, they ought to think about acquiring it.
