When the rows are not in edit mode the fifth columns shows a link and while editing it shows a dropdown. To select the correct item in the dropdown I use the second column that has the ID that came from the database.
The problem is that after changing the item and saving it to the database, this column value doesn't change. How can I do it after the grid.saveRow(lastSelection, false); ?
I have a jq grid, and I have to check for a particular value in a column and change the row corresponding to the column (say red).
I can get the row index, but I can't work out how to access that row and change its background.

I am using Jqgrid 3.6 beta version with asp.net and i wanna add dynamic context menu on row selection.When ever user rightclick a row in jqgrid he wants to see some menu like file,edit and other menus. I have completed using single page i.e. both the jqgrid and its parent(JS files) are in single page . But in my main Application I have one master page in which ill define all the JS and seperate page for the content(Jqgrid). So what happens is the same code which is running in single page application is not working in the master detail page.

My GridView is bound to a certain DataSource. Each row only shows 4 of the 8 possible items. Lets say we have name, adress, phone, fax, email, country, province and age. The GridView would only show name, email, country and age, but I want to access the province and adress bound to a row.
I got a custom GridView, with an onclick event which updates an panel (through AJAX) which shows additional information about the selected row.

I want to know if there is way to change meta description on specific pages, but to keep the meta data from the master page for the pages where I haven't specified any info.

Which adds the description tag properly, but I want in same time to remove/disable the meta tag from the master page. Is that possible?
The app_offline.htm file that ASP.NET serves returns the http status 503. This is the correct behavior for most situations. However, in the scenario where a specific URL is requested (e.g. [URL]), I'd like to change the returned http status to 200, while still returning http status 503 in all other situations. Is this possible?
The reason why I want to do this is whenever we do scheduled maintenance on our website, we use the app_offline.htm file, but we don't want our uptime monitoring service [URL] to report downtime during our scheduled maintenance.
I assume this would have to be at the IIS level because the app_offline.htm gets served very early on in the request processing cycle.

View 6 RepliesSo all the javascript loads fine except for the jqGrid. It's giving me this error: jQuery("#resultsGrid").jqGrid is not a function Which I'm assuming means it can't find the .js source. However, it is in my main Js folder along with all the other goodies, and everything else seems to work fine. Plus, none of the other javascript needs to reference the grid stuff as a source, so if I reference it in the script tag, it will break everything else right?

I need to change culture of the specific aspx page bases on the main user's culture.I am able to fetch the data that which culture main user have.But some how I am not able to set the same culture for that aspx page.I had written the below code for that.

Using this approach i can show "Page.Title" in Show.aspx using any master page that has a "MainContent" placeholder, but my real goal is if i can when i choose the MasterPage for that particular Page to also see a list of available ContentPlaceHolders and when i choose one to then render "Page.Title" in that particular ContentPlaceHolder.
My application for "Members subscriptions registration" working online and different users using it.
Database type is Mssql Server 2008 R2, Size is around 1 Gb
What happen exactly there is specific record delete from table "Members" in random times, For example I add 100 new subscriptions with around 800 records and make confirm and checking next day find it loss 3 records find it deleted.
I checked all the applications no any delete query, I removed all delete query from application to make sure no any delete also I save any delete query happen in system inside table for log.
If you know jqgird well and can help me I would appreciate it much I have this jqgrid, it shows the expected data. I only want the price to be editable, but when I click in the grid it doesn't change to edit mode as it should. Nothing happens infact.

i am jqgrid which is binded dynamically using json datatype.my problem is with pageing.
I wrote the script for jqgrid in AddCategory.aspx and redirected this page to AddCategoryGrid.aspx where i wrote the code for binding jqGrid data.
It is displaying all records in one page but not allowing the pagging.

I have 10 pages, each with a jqgrid, and a separate master page. In the master page I use jquery tabs and divs to specify the jqgrid in each page. Everything works fine apart, except that all the pages are loading when the application starts. What I want is for them to load individually whenever a user clicks on a tab. The grid should then load and display the result. I've tried with div onclick (which specifes the page and tab too) but that doesn't work.

I know this should be put around a <script> tag inside my .aspx file but what should my markup look like. I assume that "#grid1" is wraped within a html <table> but what would the pager: '#pgrid3' be? jQuery will do the replacement on the client side here.
