Now I want my users to be able to view thoose images only if they are logged in (different users, different images). All images have a name that correspond to the users id. How To Rename Folder When Images Inside That Folder Are Displayed In The Same Page
Jan 29, 2011I have a simple photo album. I have some catories in db and corresponding folders. For example, when user creates a category called "Asp Net" in db then a folder called "AspNet" is created. Then user can upload photo and all photos are displayed as thumbnail. No photo is saved in db, they are directly saved lets say AspNet folder. I just fetch filelist from intended folder and list them. However I want user to be able to update category name or delete it. To keep consistency, corresponding folder should be updated or deleted. But when I try it throws exception: Access to the path 'xxxxx" is denied.

Following the first site, it had worked but when I´ve moved the pages and files to other folders and set the web.config file on this folder, now it won´t work at all!!!
The file is an *.swf object. I did put the asapi.dll to map the extension on the website root, I´ve put the
[Code]....
on the web.config new folder and on the web.config website´s root.
It won´t work!!! I can access the file directly!!! on the web.config of the folder that contains the file, there is a <deny users="*" /> line.

A certain page that I want to access is inside its own folder within the root and it is using the namespace within the class file in the app code folder. How do I tell the application where the file is? I'm sure I could put the code in a file inside my folder, but I'd rather not have duplicate code in two different files... unless there is a way to make a reference of some type.

On the x86 machine, several assemblies are located in Program Files, and the path of the assemblies are shown as c:Program Files...... When I move this project to the x64 machine, the same assemblies are located in C:Program Files (x86).... Is there a way that I can confugure VS2010 so I don't have to manually change the path when I move the project from one machine to another?

Of course, I can explcitly set the access to only a specific role(s) but I would like to know if I can tell set it so that even folders nested inside a restricted folder can take on the same permissions settings as the folder in which it is nested.

So, I need to convert the "~ContentisFile.png" relative path to an absolute path.I tried getting the application's directory path by calling My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath but that returned some temporary folder that doesn't contain the Content folder.

Finding Tool To Merge 3 CSS Files?
Jan 25, 2010Merging huge CSS files is huge pain,
I tried some of the tools but they end up merging line by line rather than on the basis or CSS rules.
Now i thought i should right one good program to do following,
1. read CSS file convert in XML
2. sort it on the basis of CSS rule
Now write one more program to consume 3 XML files find different classes and merge the files nicely based on CSS rules.
How ever that turned out to be good amount of work and i hope there must be someone who must have faced this problem before me and solved it clean way.
I would to know the tool for this however i would also love to know how to design/code for this kind of tool? Am i thinking on right track ?

This works well at the moment, but the device I'll be rendering the PDF on won't know about the annotations/links within the PDF.I understand there is a way to parse the PDF document to detect the X/Y position of a hyperlink etc, is there an simple way to extract/iterate across the document data so I can write it to an external XML file?

C# - Implement Nested DropDownLists Inside A GridView?
Jul 8, 2010I have two nested DropDownLists (the value selected in the 1st ddl will limit the content of the 2nd ddl).
The example attached here runs fine outside of a GridView. As soon as I try to insert this into a GridView, I get an error because I cannot identify the ControlID to use in the ControlParameter.
The code outside of the GridView looks like this:

In this user control I have button that when clicked it will access and process the value populated in any control. My problem is I already tried to find the webpartzone control but this empty.
