Context.Request.Files Collection Empty On Remote Server Only?

I'm using a custom ashx handler to handle a file upload. When run locally, the file uploads fine.When I use the same setup on the web server I get a "Index out of range" error.In firebug I see the binary contents of the file in the post data and the file name is also passed in the query string.Any one seen this before?I`m sure its something minor, but its driving me up the wall.

I am using Asp.net and requirement specifies i use html input to post files to server rather than asp:fileupload.[ Reason : Add more html input file controls similar to CPanel file manager.(i.e) clicking on link adds another file input from which user can select another file*.But when ever i post back Request Files collection is always empty.*

I have an ASP.NET file upload control which sits as part of a form. The file upload control is on the content page while the form definition is on a master page across the site. I've added multipart/form-enc to the form on the master page.I'm using jQuery to submit the form as I show a dialog box from jQuery UI.When I post, no file is returned to the server. The file upload control has no file and HttpFileCollection is empty.

I'm using the new Aurigma Image Uploader Flash control, and creating sample pages works great. However, when I drop this control onto an existing page on my existing site, it doesn't work. I can only suspect something in the masterpage or something else on the page is messing with it.

I'm using HttpModule to capture requests to the web server. Before processing the page I'd like to check the values contained in some keys of the Request.Form collection and according to some logic change if necessary. I'd like to do this when BeginRequest event is fired. The problem is that the Request.Form collection is readonly.

I'm using an .ashx handler to retrieve an image file... It queries a local database, which retrieves the URL of an image which is hosted on Amazon S3.
But I can't use context.response.write(AmazonS3URL) because it returns the error '...is not a virtual path'.
Can context.response.write only return files that are on the local machine? Or is there another function to call remote files?

I have a MyLinkButton : LinkButton.
In any event I override I don't have any attributes in my "base.Attributes or this.Attributes" collection. How's that possible? The rendered output clearly shows an id and an href attribute.
I'm trying to get rid of the href part and put in my own. Unfortunately Attributes.Remove("href") won't work.. because there's no such attribute. Or any attribute for that matter.

I have an ASP .Net TreeView control that I am dynamically adding tree nodes to from my codebehind on Page_PreRender. The TreeView is populated nicely and the appropriate checkboxes are where they are expected to be. For each of these nodes the SelectAction=TreeNodeSelectAction.None. However, when accessing the TreeView CheckedNodes() collection in my codebehind after selecting a few nodes (checkboxes are selected) and clicking a submit button to post back to the server in the button click event, my CheckedNodes.count() = 0. I can not figure out why my CheckedNodes collection in the codebehind does not contain the nodes that I have checked from the GUI.

There is one page which is actually a streaming to The Axis IP camera which spits MJPEG output.It requires user to log in with the user name/password promp on browser .I am using this stream to show video directly on a web page.It shows video correctly but asks user to provide correct user name and password set for the camera,I tried to logging in to this camera on server side using HTTP requests and then I realized I authenticated server request not the browser the end user is using.
So what I want is a method server side or client side, that can allow me to log-in to camera automatically when my end-users visit this page.I am using asp.net with c# 2005

My web application is on a Webserver that is in a DMZ .
the web application must save on the server in LAN some files, but the webserver cannot access the file server because has no right to access. i wouldn't create an account for the web server, but i would that any time the application has to upload a file onto the file server make a connection that encapsulate credentials, then the upload starts ,finally the connection closes.
Is possible with some Objects to do this type of work?

Are the cookies from my Request.Cookies collection already copied to my Response.Cookies collection? Do I need to add a new cookie with the same key using Response.Cookies.Add(), or do I need to use Response.Cookies.Set()?

How do I call Page.Request properties from a thread after the host headers are gone.

My ASP.NET Web app has a thread which calls a method in the Page. This method then calls:
searchQuery = Page.Request.Path
This throws an exception with a message of, "Request is not available in this context."

using oAuth.net library for the Gmail Contacts API The request seems well-formed and I have stepped through the requests, and cannot discern anything wrong. When i try to execute the code below i get the error "unable to connect to remote server".
The internet connection is set and if i copy and paste the serviceurl directly on the browser it works.

After setting the auth cookie using
FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie("myusername", False)
server.transfer("somepage.aspx") to open a web page.
Context.User.Identity.Name is found to be empty
But if I use
Response.Redirect("somepage.aspx")
Context.User.Identity.Name provides correct result.
I am aware of the differences between Response.Redirect and server.transfer. But exactly what is the reason behind this particular behaviour ?

I'm binding the listview to a collection attached to my nHibernate model object (SearchObject.SearchItems). This collection doesn't have insert or update handling like an object datasource would, so I want to handle the insert/update events manually. Is there a way to get these values to come through automatically, or do I have to manually grab each value from its control when I handle this event?

Before the execution of "head.Controls.Add(title)":
1 - When I watch "head" it shows - "{InnerText = ""}"
2 - When I watch "title" it shows - "{System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlTitle}"
After the exectuion of head.Controls.Add(title)":
When I watch "head" it shows "{InnerText = (InnerText) threw an exception of type ystem.Web.HttpException.}"
This cause error "Request is not available in this context" when line "page.RenderControl(htw)" is executed.
When I exclude the lines "Dim head As HtmlHead = buildHeadControl()" & "page.Controls.Add(head)", the "page.RenderControl(htw)" succeeds
What is the problem and how to fix it?
