Get Content Specific Label In DataList Under Command Button?

I have application like wall facebook the user can add something on wall and the other user can comment on it.I have done this by using DataList please review below print screen for my page translated to english.my problem i want when user click on the button in DataList save this data in database.How i can separation between Topic ID label in data list?I using default code but naturally i get error the lblID.Text is not exist

I have a asp.net page - manageCustomer.aspx with a button 'SyncCustomers'. When this button is clicked, customer records will be taken one by one from one database and syncd with another database. As it is a long running process, when this button is clicked and process starts, I want to show present status in a label box of the same manageCustomer.aspx page. But inside this button click event, where I have codings for this process, when I try to update text of label box, its not changing in that page. only when all process were completed,last text that i gave for label box is displayed. So, How to give updates of running process in a label?

How to start at a specific record and returning only the next 5 records with T-SQL command

That is my concatenated SQL statement but it obviously does not work because it only looks at the top 5 records in the entire table instead of what I intended which would be to look at the top 5 records starting with the record where PostNumber equals the value of lastPost. I have been searching for a T-SQL statement that will allow me to do this but I can't find one.

How do I apply the response.redirect command to have the content of what I a url that I fetch displayed in my web app. I fetch the url and since vb.net is not recognizing response.redirect I am a little stumped. I have a textarea where I display the responsestream which works but I would like it displayed the same way it displays in a browser. The pages source has a lot of javascript functions so I am not sure if this is even relevant.

Div contains a link , i wanna to just select the div without the link,i mean ,when clicking on the div i wanna specific action differs from clicking the link.through some JQuery.

I use Visual Web Developer 2008 Express.I have Label1 in a DataList ItemTemplate. I wish to use a button to get the text from that label and add it to text in TextBox1 which is elsewhere on the page.I know how to do this from a standard label on a ASP.NET web page but cannot work out how to get the text from a label inside a DataList ItemTemplate.

I want to display a GridView with 3 Columns: a Name, a Score, and a sort-of-ProgressBar reflecting the score. So far, I haven't been able to display the 'ProgressBar' correctly.
I placed a asp:Label inside a asp:Label [URL]. Visually, this looks nice, but the 'ProgessBar' is rigth now 50% for every row. For every row, the width of the lblProgressBar has to be the value of Score, but I can't get this to work.

I get some URL from a XML feed. Now the question is how do I get a specific data from each page represented by those URLs. For example if I have a URL: [URL] in the feed data and on that page there is a table like this:

Now the question is how do I get the content of the span which has the class "summary" and which is the child of the having a class name "snip". We do have to decode emove the encoded html contained by the span.
