Select Form Elements In JQuery Based Upon An HTML Table?

I am working on some ASP.NET web forms which involves some dynamic generation, and I need to add some onClick helpers on the client side. I have a basic outline of something working, except for one huge problem.
There are multiple HTML tables, each generated by a different ASP.NET web control. Each table can contain overlapping field names, which is causing a problem with my JQuery click event handlers. The click event handler is linking to unintended form fields in addition to the intended form field.
I have provided a simplified sample version of the code below. This code is trying to set the value of textbox box1 when a particular radiobutton is selected in the table with id=thing1. Obviously, the jquery code will be triggered for the form fields in both tables.
The tables are dynamically added to the webpage based upon different conditions. It is possible that no tables will be loaded, only 1 table, or both tables might load. In the future, other tables could be added. Each table comes from a different .net web control.
Other than renaming the form fields to make sure they are unique across all user controls, is there a way to have JQuery act only on the intended form fields? In other words, could the table ID be incorporated into the JQuery code in a manner that does not become a nightmare to maintain later?

I have 3 tables (ShoppingCart, Data, Temporary) in database (Entities) I have no problems in getting data into ShoppingCart. I also know how to transfer data from columns in table ShoppingCart into columns of table Temporary (like EngName, CartID, Date, Quantity etc. - see code below) But I do not know how to multiply Quantity in table ShoppingCart by Price stored in table Data and save it into table Temporary. I have 2 Tables , OrderDetails and Requests In my LINQ to SQL dbml file. OrderDetailsID is a foreign key in Requests Table. I want to write the query to get the sum of UnitCost from OrderDetails based on OrderId. And If there is a row in Requests Table for each OrderDetailsID, and the Requests.Last.RequestType="Refund" I want to reduce the total refund amount from the main sum otherwise If there is no row based on OrderDetailsID, add to sum. Here is the way I implement that. I am looking to prevent using "For each".

I have a View that has a select drop-down list and an edit button within a form. What I want to do is have the user select one of the options from the select element, click on the edit button, and get the value of the selected option in the Controller method.
I created my form with <% Html.BeginForm(): %>
and the Controller "Edit" method should be called.
I looked through several online examples, but each one focused on how to set values and the default selected value of the select element, rather than retrieving it from the code in the Controller method. I tried grabbing it from the Request.Form collection like:
string val = Request.Form["myDropDownList"].ToString();
and also:
string val = Request.Form["myDropDownList"];
Obviously I didn't do this correctly, because I get a null reference exception. Does anyone have the solution to this issue?

I am trying to get the row value/inner text from a table I have inside a repeater list. I am using jquery/tableDnD to drag and drop the row at which time I update the row number with the new position. I use jquery facebox as delete confirmation box. When i do a delete it removes my record and i show the resultsdiv via javascript. But it always shows

i have 4 comboxes (com1, com2, com3,com4) and 4 tables (tab1, tab2, tab3, tab4)com1 and tab 1 have master table relationships i.e when in com1 the name is entered tab 1 shows the result of that entry. the same is for the rest comboxes and tables.
Now what i am trying to do is when an user clickes on com1 and types the name of the employee tab2 tab 3 and tab 4 should be hidden. if com2 is clicked tab1 and tab3, ta4 shoud be hidden.etc

I'm sure I'm going about this wrong but I'm trying to write a simple javascript method that will set a hidden type value upon a link click. I'm using the Html.BeginForm() helper that contains two links similar to:

The supportform name obviously doesn't exists since I'm using BeginForm() and can't specify a form name. Is there a clever way of doing this without calling Forms(0) using jQuery or something or am I completely off?

I have been working with this database for some time. Here is the situation...
I inherited a MS SQL database that has hundreds of tables with similar data. For instance:
FordTampa_customer is a table,
ChevyAtlanta_customer is a table, etc....
All of the columns are the same...just different tables with their own ID field. All I have done...Inside of another database id is created a table called 'Customer' and added an 'Dealer ID' column along with the rest of the other columns in the other tables...
So the combination of the 'Dealer ID' and the 'ID' field are unique.....I know...its not the best way to do things...but I cannot change the old data structure because I cannot have access to it. I am give back-ups on a weekly basis, so this is all I have to work with.
All right, on to the real point of my post...
Currently, I have an application that I use to select all of the data from the 'Ford_customers','Chevy_customers',etc... and inserts them into my new main 'Customer' table. I do this by selecting the table names, bind it to an arraylist, loop through the list and execute an insert statement.
I do this in VB.NET, but I would prefer to do it in a Stored procedure of some kind....I just am not sure how to accomplish it. I use this syntax to get my list of tables:

I need to delete the row when "delete" is clicked. I have the following script inside call.

I've been trying to get either an <object> or an <embed> tag using:
