I have a gridview on my page with autogeneratedeletebutton="true" and containing a button field colum <asp:ButtonField CommandName="Select" Text="Edit" ButtonType="Link"/>.These buttons show up on the page but they are not clickable links so I can't click them. I have similar code elsewhere and it works fine.
View 3 RepliesI am new to ASP.NET and have made a register page, 'get' which on submitting redirects to another page 'pick1' displaying the data in Gridview. In each row of the Gridview there are 'View' buttons which on clicking opens a pop-up page having 2 buttons 'send mail' and 'cancel'. On clicking 'send Mail' button, i want selected row of data to be sent by email instead of the entire gridview. Right now only the entire gridview data is coming to my mail. Also i want to attach a link to the email so that it redirects to the 'pick1' page again on clicking in email. How can I do it?

When I click the button it just postsback the page but then the [BDConfirmSent] field is still empty instead of being "Yes"

View 3 RepliesI have a grid view, that when bound, if the UserID isn't the same as the ID of the person who added a meeting, that I don't want to let that person edit or delete the meeting. (Since they didn't add it, they can't edit/delete it)
I have my gridview set up with template fields, and can determine if the UserID matches, but I can't figure out how to disable or hide this first column in the gridview for a specific row.

Ive got a list of records in a gridview (from an SQLDataSource) where a field value is set to True. I've also added a "reset" button in a template field at the start of the row in the Gridview.
What I would like to do is allow the user to click the reset button on a particular row and 'reset' the true value to 'false' (updating the source data).

The button is generated using a Template Field and is a standard ASP:Button. If I click a button in an unmerged row everything works as expected. If I click a button in a merged row...the sender object on the command comes back as null and no matter what I try I can't seem to fix it or get a reference to the button.

I have 5 gridviews, all of of them have a Checkbox template field. I already did SUM of a specific column in the gridviews and displayed the Total in the gridview footers.
There is a submit button on the page as well.(this is not in a template column in the gridview)
what i do is select some rows in the gridviews by ticking the checkbox. Then I click on the submit button and the values change in the database and page refreshes with the new Total in the gridview footers. Any row that was ticked. the checkbox for that row in the gridview gets disabled. so cannot change the value again.
Now i want a way to show a popup with a SUM of those rows that are ticked recently and the SUM of already ticked and disabled rows before the values change for the ticked rows in the gridview when the submit button is clicked.
I want to send multivalued parameter to SQLdatasource via gridview control.
