but when i use this, the border for header of the TabContainer also removed.as per my requirement i have to remove only the left, right and down border of the control and header will remain the same.
I'm have a project that uses a TabContainer. When I view the TabContainer from my local IIS it displays fine. When I run this from a production environment I'm getting tiny gap & a border line below my TabPanel Header. My browser is IE 8.0
sometimes we need to use the asp image control so we can generate empty alt tags (visual studio 2005 does not render any attributes set to an empty string). I know how to do this and also how to remove the border style that is automatically added
We implemented this 6 months ago, however, only today have I discovered that it does not work when images are created dynamically. The first implementation was for asp images that have been set up within an aspx page:
The above works-no border style is rendered and the imageurl is populated in code.I have other pages where I'm building up sections dynamically using C# code, such as:-
I have even tried to comment out the XML to remove the tab, but it would appear that even tbcContainer.tabs.remove and removeat just dont flippin work, any work around, for once google's not being useful.
At present we are using <ajax:TabContainer> to load tabs. I have 5 user controls inside <ajax:TabPanel>.
The problem is that all the data on these 5 pages gets loaded at once and increases the loading time as well as it is very hard to debug. Can we do lazy loading uisng TabContainer control? so that only the data of the current tab is loaded and when we click on the other tab then that's control data gets loaded.
First time ever I am using a ajax tapcontainer control. To learn some info I went to look for the video hosted by asp.net about how to use tab control.
The one I am using it seems different. I am using AjaxToolkit 3.5 in VS 2008.
So is there any place I can learn about tabContainer for 3.5.
but when the page is rendered TabPanel is always Hidden,I wateched the html code by Firebug and found visibility is hidden... what is the problem? http://i.imgur.com/m1eSW.jpg
I am using Tabcontainer of AJAX Control Toolkit . The problem is that, i have 10 tabpanels. I want to show this tabs in two lines, first 5 in one line, second 5 tabs in another line.
I'm working on a web where i have a Tabcontainer in which I only use two tabs, and what i do there is that I added a control to show virtual keyboard (VK) for use with tablet PC or mouse, it will appear when a textbox is onFocus.
The problem is that when I add the control VK inside a Tabpanel, run the page, and when I focus the textbox inside the Tabpanel, it doesn't appear the VK, but i try using outside the tabpanel and it work. I also added an updatepanel inside the Tabpanel, and moved the textbox and VK control there, but is the same, it doesn't appear the VK.
i will show my web code and a link to the VK control web, cause I think it have to be a way to call the keyboard in client-side mode, but i tryed all i know and nope, isn't showing the VK.
I a using an HTML Editor control on a page within a Update Panel, when te user selects from a DropDownList the page gets the requested Text from an SQL DB and updates the HTML Editor. This all works fine and if the user edits the text it is also saved back to the DB perfectly fine.
However if the user tries to put a blank line in to the TEXT (Line theline above this one!) even switching from Design to Preview this line is removed and if the Text is saved back to the DB the line is removed. I have tried adding lots of lines but they are always removed as if the control is thinking well we don't need this white space so lets get rid of it.
I have an ajax tabcontainer on a master page that has a user control inside one of its tabs. The user control is just a gridview that gets a list populated from a DB table. The strange thing is that the gridview is displaying in VS, but when I build the site the tab is empty; no error message just nothing.Below is the code for the tab in my master page:
am trying put values using javascript function but for some reason that is not working and the values are lost :(what i am trying do?, from the tabchanged event I ask if the user want return to the last loaded tab and go to the functionNavigateToLastLoadedTab
[Code]....
after to run this method i don't know how the browser is cleaning the values from the control :(.
I am using Tabcontainer of AJAX Control Toolkit . The problem is that, i have 15 tabpanels. this tabs in three lines, first 5 in one line, second 5 tabs in second line, third 5 tabs in third line.
If I click first / six/fifteen'th tab means it shows the relevant tabpanel with data correctly.
Each tabs have three buttons like Save, Edit and Cancel
All three line's tabpanels works properly in Chrome and Firefox.
But in IE,
First line tabpanel's button work properly...
second and third line tabpanel's buttons is not work properly,
if I click the second and third line tabpanel's buttons means.. It didn't go to page load..
i have a gridview that directly bind to a dataset.Hence there is no column in code behind for me to control the boarder color and border style.I try my code in RowDataBound, but it does not take effect.
I have a codebehind.vb for a master page from which I'm trying to find a hiddenfield in the content page. I was finding it like this without a hitch...
how can I control the border ( currently it displays thin-line border) and control the display of heading (currently it display 'untitled') and other similar features.
Long ago, I created an ASPNET user for development use. However, every time I boot up my dev system, I'm presented with a user login for ASPNET, among others.I don't want to remove ASPNET; I need it for dev work. But how do I keep it from appearing among the list of User Logins available at boot-up?
Is it possible, either through layout tricks, or modifying the roundedCorners.js file, to change the default border width of the roundedCornersExtender? I would like to make the border a little thicker than the default 1px width.
I have read a few people who have tried to do this but no one could seem to come up with anything, and most of the posts were several years old, so I wanted to check back and see if anyone knows if this is possible?
