i am using ajax tab pannel
in tab 1 all buttons are working and firing
but when i select tab 2 and click on the button and i put debuger in code behind and run it the click on the button not firing

m using ajax control tab container, in which i have placed 5 tab panels....
in first tab panel submit button is woking fine,but in 2nd tabPanel button is giving problem,its not firing even a single event...
I am faced with a tricky scenario. My application (WEB) is in .NET 3.5 using C# as the development language. My page is having a number of User controls, each with a Save button of its own.
Now my Page containing the User Controls also has a button named SAVE. Now all these User Controls are dynamically populated in the page with respect to some events and all of them are inside individual Update Panels.
Now my requirement is ONCLICK of the SAVE button in the page, the clicks of the SAVE buttons of the user controls will get fired. But since its an asynchronous call (since I am using AJAX through UPDATE PANELS), it will be a heavy overload if all the clicks get fired simultaneously.
So I thought of having sequential clicks done, i.e., after the successful completion of the Click of User Control 1, the click of User Control 2 will get fired and so on.
I presume this can be done with Server Callback, but I am at a loss how to proceed with it.

View 5 RepliesI have a master page containing a ScriptManager control, and a Content Page containing a ScriptManagerProxy Control. Further on the content page I have an UpdatePanel control containing a GridView control and a server side button control. I have registered the button control as a trigger with the UpdatePanel control asynchronously and have set the UpdateMode of the UpdatePanel to "Conditional". I also have a "JumpLoader" control which is outside the UpdatePanel control. I have the following event for Jumploader wired up through Javascript. I am pasting the relevant sections of the code below:

I have a modal pop up extender that is working fine. Inside the modal pop up window I have 2 buttons yes No
If I click on yes I am redirecting it to a diff page. No is simply closing the pop up.
In my .cs file buttonclick I added the response.redirect();
But my OnClick="BtnYes_Click" is never getting fired although I click on the yes button. What is wrong?

I have a web app connected to a database. I have a ajax tab control on the page with a textbox and a button in a panel that will update the database with whatever the user types in the textbox. But I cant seem to get the behind code to work, I assume the button is not firing.

I have update panel in which i have a label and a textbox and a button
I havwe a Radiobutton list which i am using In the asynchoronous postback trigger of the update panel.
In the Control Id of the trigger I have passed Radiobutton List Id and in the event name I am passing SelectedIndexChanged
But when I click the button no event is firing rest all is working fine.
Button click event from inside the accordion pane is not firing. Accordion pane contains tab container inside one of its panes (5th pane) to read data from user and to save that data into database. I have used a button to save data when user click on that button. For this button i have written a click event in code behind.

The DIV is unhidden with jQuery ($('#hiddenDiv').show()). Why would the button work when it starts out visible, but not when it started out hidden and was made visible in jQuery?

I've got a textbox that when I press enter I want it to fire this event. Doing the 'Enter' event isn't an issue but I can't get the event on the href to fire using .click(). Here's my function so far:

I am using Ext.Net and I have a problem.
I am creating dynamic buttons. It is working but if i click, the button event is not working.:(

In tab container let say I have two tabs [Tab1 & Tab2] Tab1 has 2 text box with required field validator Tab2 has 3 text box with required field validator Now even if I am filling all the text boxes in the TAB1, it is not allowing me to postback. [because TAB2 text boxes are still empty] & When I am filling all the textboxes [Both Tab1 & Tab2], button is firing correctly. I mean user has to fill details for the TAB1 & can submit the details. At that Time I don't want TAB2 validations to work.

I am not sure what is happening.
Something strange is going on. I have requiredfieldvalidators on 2 textboxes. I enter data and I cannot click the asp button. but when i remove the validation group I can click the button.

And the lower button. Any ideas why this isn't working? I enter info into all textboxes and I still can't fire the button event. Remove the group and it's fine.

I'm facing a weird issue...My button events are not firing :(I'm using the 3.5 .net framework and I've already tried to run aspnet_regiis -c, clear the browser temp files, use windows integrated authentication, but nothing works...this is the cenario:
- windows server 2003
- app migrated from .net framework 1.1 (which was working fine) to .net framework 3.5
- IE8
The Update button of the gridview is not firing. I checked the database table to make sure that the read/write privileges are set - they are. The primary key is defined, and the DataKeyNames attribute is set.
