Data Controls :: How To Pass List Of Values From One To Another View In MVC Mobile App

I have 2 views(2 view pages) in first view page I will display some names in this page i will have add button after clicking on add button it will redirect to another page (2nd view page) in this i will display multi selected list or listview then i will select multiple items from multi selected list now this selected items has to bind with first view names and display updated list in 1st page?
My question is this selected items in 2nd view page has to bind with 1st view page and display how to do this using mvc razor for mobile application?

I have a detailsview which includes a drop down list bound to an array. However, when I click on the cancel button the dropdownlist values disappear. I have tried to solve the problem by rebinding the values back into list on the cancel command event, but this has made no difference. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I got in the controller action:

However, the words are truncated when passed to the view.
The words after the space is truncated.
ie. it just passed the word "Inventory".

I have a Parameter @CategoryID - however I need to take in a category ID such as "BA" and translated this to a list of Category IDs such as "IE","EG" etc so my WHERE clause looks like:
WHERE (CategoryCode LIKE 'IE' OR CategoryCode LIKE 'EG') AS Info
I have a Lookup Table which contains the "BA" code and then all the real category codes this means such as "IE" and "EG".How do I have the CategoryID expand to multiple "OR" statements in my SQL Function?
At the moment the query as shown can cope with one CategoryID such as "IE", this is done as I want a category page such as category.aspx where a parameter "BA" is passed such as category.aspx?category=BA and this page will list all items with the category codes "EG" and "IE".
The reason I need this is there is a "parent" category code which has multiple "children" category codes which are different to the parent code. I am using ASP.NET and .NET 3.5 on the front-end if this helps.

I am developing a web based application for a Motorolla Mc 9090, it is a wireless barcode scanner running windows mobile 5.0.
The idea is to centralize the inventory in one database, by scanning items, serials, bins etc.
I have a set of pages each containg forms, where the user will have to scan an item, and automaticall the scanner has a carriege return (ENTER key) the idea was to have the user simply scan, and the page would automatically click the button posting to server for processing and then the server would reply.
For some reason i cannot get the focus() to work as well as the defaultbutton propperty of the form. There is also 1 more problem, the readOnly textboxes look the same as the non readOnly textboxes, even with the backcolor property changed.(guessing this is just MS)

I am new to web apps, MVC, and LinqToSql. I created an MVC web app using the NerdDinner tutorial as a guide. I'm now adding many-to-many relationships to it. And am just running into walls at every step. I have a multiselect list in the Edit and Create views. For the Detail and List views I would like to list the selected values.
I have 3 tables: Company, Subcontract, and a link table CompanyToSubcontract. I have code which gets the guid of my selected companies from the CompanyToSubcontract table which is used elsewhere in my code. I do not know how to display it.
Should I write another function to get the Company names from the Company table? Do I pass the list of names to the SubcontractDetail view and then somehow loop through it there?
Same questions with the SubcontractIndex view. The Index view is in table format, I'd like to have a "Company" column which has a comma separated list of the companies for each subcontract row.

1. Desktop websites ->www.****.com -> this is i have used to view full websites in IE,FIREFOX,CHROME,etc...
2.mobile website ->www.****.com -> this is i have used to display mobile website using any mobile devices like iphone, stc, nokia, samsung, etc...
In my mobile website have one button which is for "view full website" . If i click on that from mobile the link which i want to show full website with the same mobile device what devices i have using.

I have a GridView which contains a set of trades bound to a SQL Server database table with a primary key called tradeId. I want to be able to edit a trade by having an edit button on the GridView. When the edit button is clicked for a record, I want to go to a new page called EditTrade.aspx page. This new page might have a DetailsView form in Edit mode and I want to populate it with the information using the tradeId from the GridView.My question is what's the best way to pass the tradeId to the page? Should I use Session State? Something else? I'm trying to learn ASP.NET and would like some advice on best practise.

I have a list of cases that are displayed on our intranet home page. They are all in a gridview. I have a view button which will go and display more information about the case on a different page. Now for some reason the jobID is the same as the ClientID so instead of being say clientID=34&jobid=148 its just clientID=34&jobID=34. I have posted the code which i am using. I believe this started when i deleted a load of unwatned test cases from the DB itsself
