I'm trying to link 2 objectdatasource together using the Control Parameter Source.However, I'm stuck at the screenshot below. The Next button is disabled.

I use an objectdatasource programmatically to use a parameterless method when SearchWord variable is empty and a Search method with one parameter when SearchWord is not empty, the event I use is objectdatasource selecting so that I can adjust parameters conveniently, I have a problem here: I can add a new parameter and set its value but I can't remove a previously added parameter from objectdatasource selectparameters and an error raises because of this, this is the selecting method:

Both adding and removing the search parameter takes place in this method while adding works removing the added one Not works.
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use an ObjectDataSource Update method with a table-valued parameter. Here's my ODS:

I bind this to a GridView but I'm not looking to edit row by row. Instead my GridView has a bunch of TemplateFields with textboxes. I also have a Button that when pressed, invokes the Update method of the ODS. So then the "UpdateTestData" function in my TestBLL is called. This looks like this:

At run-time in debug, it seems like the object for the signature above is not populated with the data from my GridView.

As you can see, the connectionstring parameter is defined to a specific connection string name and I need to be able to set such a parameter to a different value, for example, to a session variable content.
I don't know it happen just to me or Others have the same situation too . All the time when i bind a DataControl to an ObjectDataSource in "Configure Data Source" wizard of ObjectDataSource,when i set parameter source as "Control" in "ControlId" DropdownList there are TWO Item of every control in the WebForm , while it make sense be one.

How do you use the http POST method with a Grid View on another page. I am trying to use the POST method to send the ID from the selected row of a Grid View, I am using a link button set to fire the select command and it has the Post Back URL set, from one page and then retrieve the ID value on another page using an Object Data Source. Also, under the Defining Parameters, I am setting the ID parameter to Form Parameter Source and have entered the Grid Views name in the Form Field.
View 4 RepliesI know this sounds odd. I have a SQL DB that I am pulling data from. I have to some math functions to get a percentage. So I am pulling all the data in my code and building a data table with the results. I am then trying to pass this into a chart control that I have, but it fails because the data source is not correct for the chart control. I know that the chart control will accept a SQLDataSource control as a data source because a built a example with it before using it in my project.So my question is how can I use the Data Table as a data source for a SQLDataSource Control? Or is there a way I can pull the data from my DB andapply the math needed in a stored procedure or something similar that I could create the procedure on my SQL server then add a SQLDataSource control to my page and use the stored procedure as the source for the SQLDataSource Control.

Everything was good before I bumped into the problem when declarative binding (SelectedValue='<# Bind("SvcCluster_Id") >') produced the error, because value has not been found in the list. So i moved binding to the code:

I want to call a method in the code behind file from the aspx file, but I can't get the TypeName propery correct.
I can call methods in the dll:s in the bin folder and from files in the app folder, but not from code behind in the aspx page. What do I need to do.
