Forms Data Controls :: Calculation On RadioList Inside GridView - How To Retrieve The List Button Clicked Value

Here is my page:

It basically is 4 questions with each answer assigned a value.
What I would like to do is when the button is clicked the selected values are retrieved and calculated to give a total.
That total is then compared against some common totals and the next value is shown.
So is the total is 8= Very Good, 6= Very Bad, 4= Terrible etc.
The two labels Result and Truth would sho the numerical result and the truth according to the scale.
I am at a loss on how to retrieve the list button clicked value, how to add them up and referance that to the Truth result.
its complicated (to me its "bang head against wall" difficult.

When I click on download link button which has the path of the file stored on the gridview how to pass only the filename to the query string... like for example URL....presentation. pdf is the file name and it will be displayed with the path stored on the gridview.. How to extract the filename and make it download on a new window by passing the filename on the query string..

I have a databound Gridview (with a LINQ datasource). The gridview displays questions from the SQL DB to the user. I've inserted a radio button list into the gridview with 3 horizontal radio buttons with fixed values of 1,2,3 for the user to select. I have a question ID, a tempuserID, and AnswerValue columns set up in the database. It all works nicely.
After the user selects radio buttons, I would like for them to push a button to submit the QuestionID, the associated Radio Button Value (AnswerValue) and their tempUserID into the DB. How do I do this? I'm not sure what to do next and what VB/LINQ code to put in the code behind file in the button click event handler. I'm also not sure on what to use for the tempUserID, can I use the sessionID? I'm using VB and here's my code:

I have been searching the net for quite a while and can't find an example of how to put a radiobutton or radiolist inside a formview. I have an objectdatasource that goes back to a table. One field in the table is Hydro -- which is an int field. There are three valid choices:
value Text
0 None
1 15 Amp Service
2 30 Amp Service
When I set my Formview to the objectdatasource my Hyrdo binding looks like this:

How would I change the above so that it would replace the TextBox with either a radiolist or 3 radiobuttons (I am ok with whichever is easier) so that it would look like this
Hydro: o None o 15 Amp o 30 Amp
Also, in the case of the update mode that the correct item is selected based on the value of 0, 1, 2 being read from the datatable

I have a grid with an link button template field i also added a drop down list template field, i would like to hide the link button text (select) and display my drop down list for only the current row, when the link button is selected and capture the selected row (int row = gvstaging.SelectedRow.RowIndex;)
When the dropdown list SelectedIndexChange event fires i would like to access the value of the selected item(

I have a grid view that populates and displays data at btn click event from the following sql statement in one of the SP:

I want to pass parameters to the other Stored procedure when the edit button is clicked in order to update the 2 columns in the specific row at the time. I now how to pass parameters in a regular btn click event or function, but in the case of edit btn in grid view I don't know how to capture data from specific row and then pass it to the SP. Here is Stored Procedure to update the columns (every user always has the same reg code, but may have more than one serial number and activation code, I want to let the user update serial number and then based on the serial number generate new activation code in the SP.):

I need to do calculation of different no as shown in fig..right now i am doing addition in the normal way...adding all the values of the textboxes and thenn showig the result in the last textbox..what i want is whenever i change any value in the any textboxes it should automatically reflect the changes in the final calculation(final textbox) without using calculate button.

I am using two data list one at the bottom & another at the Top to display paging. On Page load, I need to access link button placed inside Data List. Actually I had got two Datalists. I can access one Datalist Link button like this:

lnkPg.Visible= false;
This is giving no error. But if I write same code for another datalist say dlPg1, it is giving error: Index was out of range. must be non-negative.

I have a dropdownlist("ddlTemplate") control and a gridview("gvPlanning") control with 1 BoundField column, 1 TemplateField column and remaining columns will be generated dynamically from database.In TemplateFiled Column i have 3 image buttons viz: Edit, update and cancel.Gridview will be populated based on the selecteditem of dropdownlist.
if i click on edit imagebutton, i need to add textboxes dynamically in all the columns of that row except first 2 column. And if i click on Update imagebutton i need to retrieve the textbox values.we can add template field column for textboxes also, but why i am sticking to this method is.. the number of columns changes depending on the selecteditem from the dropdownlist. Eg: If i select india from dropdownlist the number of columns in the gridview would be 4 and if i select UK from dropdownlist the number of columns would be 9 likewise.
