Forms Data Controls :: NumericUpDownExtender Inside UpdatePanel Firing Twice?

I have an UpdatePanel which has inside a detailsview, this DetailsView has a TemplateColumn with a UserControl.The UserControl has a NumericUpDownExtender and when the user clicks on an arrow or changes the value of the textbox a server event is raised (this is made by me, not default behaviour). I do this by using the add_currentChanged of the extender (in the javascript pageLoad function, and remove_currentChanged (in the javascript pageUnload function) and implementing the interface ICallbackEventHandler in the UserControl. My problem is that when the user click on the arrow, the event is raised twice and the correct value is overwritten.

i am developing the webpage using Visual 2008.In that i have i am using update panel and displaying values in the textbox bby using webservices from sql database.I need this thing if textbox values changes i need to change the backkground color of the text box also, so that user can easily identify which textbox values are changing. like this i have 5 more text boxes control in the same form .i have tried but i could not able to get done. i have written javascript code on change event of the text box it does work.

I have a checkbox, textbox and requiredfieldvalidator inside the updatepanel. Once user checks selects
checkbox I am enabling requiredfieldvalidator.
I have one more textbox, requiredfieldvalidator, validationgroup and Linkbutton outside updatepanel.
Strange thing is Checkbox checked event not firing in some cases,
1. Check the checkbox (which enables requiredfieldvalidator)
2. Click the Linkbutton (fires two validators)
3. Uncheck the checkbox (which should disable requiredfieldvalidator)
4. Click the linkbutton again (again it fires two validator, which should fire only one validator)
Note: The problem only arising when I add javascript block to linkbutton in page load event.

I´m using a Repeater to generate Items out of a Database. Each ReapeaterItem should include an UpdatePanel, because i have to Update the Controls inside the UpdatePanel and do not want to reload the complete page. Inside these dynamically generated UpdatePanels (each RepeaterItem has one) i´m adding up to three Checkboxes dynamically (based on the Database). These Checkboxes need to fire the "CheckedChanged" event, because on some conditions i want to enable/disable/check/uncheck Checkbox1, 2 or 3 based on business logic. ... Hope you got this so far. I´m adding all Controls and have the EventHandler Added. But the generated Code does not reflect the Event Handler. I tried OnItemDataBound, OnItemCreated, PreRender, ... Events to add the Eventhandler too, but i was not able to find the CheckBox-Control with the ID.
I´m totally lost with this and on the way to use Buttons instead of Checkboxes. From what i read so far is that with Buttons i can use the CommandName from the Button and the ItemCommand-Event from the Repeater to get a workaround, but then i need to reflect the "Check" on the Page in some way. btw, every Repeater (8) sits inside an ajaxtoolkit-accordion control. I'm trying to fire the RowCommand event on a DataGrid control. I've previously done that, but not in this precise case.
Actually I'm working on someone else code so I can't really change the structure of his page excepted if it's really necessary.
The code of the page is heavy, so I've summarized the problem in a small project and the page behaves the same way too.
Basically I have a GridView which I bind to a DataSet. According to those data, I sometimes need to add, at the end of a row, a "Details" button (a LinkButton).
By pushing this button, I want to show a second GridView containing those details.
Let's add to this that the columns number of the first GridView is variable, those LinkButton need to be added dynamically.
The first GridView is generated without any problem and when my mouse is over one of the LinkButton, I can see that the link is something like "javascript:__doPostBack('dataGridView$ctl02$lnkDetail','')". When I click on this link and debug step by step : Page_Init, Page_Load, OnPrerender, RowDataBound but no RowCommand, and I don't know why!
In the exemple, I've explicitly set the EnableViewState to true from what I've read here and there, but nothing's changed.

I have two update panels and one javascript control.
When the javascript button is clicked, it forces a partial postback on UpdatePanel2. UpdatePanel2 is populated with dynamically created buttons that have javascript effects (jquery) but when click can also induce a postback. My problem is that, when clicking on these dynamic buttons, the whole page does not do a partial post back but rather UpdatePanel2 itself does a partial postback and everything is gone.
However, what I want to do is be able to tie each of the dynamic buttons in UpdatePanel2 (After being dynamically created) and make them an asychnonous triggers to UpdatePanel1. So that when clicking on these dynamic buttons, ONLY UpdatePanel1 is doing a partial postback refresh. UpdatePanel2 stays put and remains the same.

I've been reading up on the problems with dynamically created controls and how they have been solved. The posts I have come across are creating the controls in a panel or some other open place. I can't seem to get my checkbox to fire the event from inside a gridview. below is the code behind from inside the GridView PreRender event.

So after all this, nothing happens. I get the postback flash but my command inside the checked event doesn't fire.I tried putting the dynamic creation of the checkbox in Page Load with no effect.. I think because I can't place the checkbox inside the GridView under page load.

Very new to ASP.NET (using C# behind) and am having trouble figuring out the following scenario. I have a DataList that is populated (code below) and wanted each cell to be clickable. When the cell is clicked I wanted to know the unique ID for that cell. In my code behind, my OnClick method looks like this:

However I never get there. It seems as if the linkbutton always refers to some javascript callback function and just reloads my form. Am I using the wrong control for what I want to do? I have a gridview which is inside the update panel. Also I have setup a multipe filters which works fine. After the search I get the correct returns and page numbers but as soon I switch the pages, it loses its state and lists all the page numbers.

I have a ListView control on a page that I need to support inline editing and inserting. Before I put it inside an update panel, everything was fine. As soon as I put it in an update panel, I seem to lose theOnItemUpdating, OnItemCanceling events. The OnItemEding event still fires, though.I am doing all updating, inserting manually.

i have two nested gridview inside an update panel. there is a button called btnPhoneEdit inside the child grid view. when the button gets clicked, it do cause partial post back as expected but it fails to invoke btnPhoneEdit_Click.

I have a script inside an updatepanel. This script needs to be inside the updatepanel as it must be located in that spot.
Now when we click the "LinkButton" to update the updatepanel, the script will dissapear.
It seems that the script only is initiazed on the first Page_Load and Refresh of the page.
How can we keep it when pressing the "LinkButton"?
