I need to read data in DataGridView from one page to display using label in Other Page.I think here using QueryString concept. i cant remember the coding for QueryString and How to get Query string in another web page.Please give the sample coding using C# for me.

This morning I posted a question w.r.t Radio Buttons, but the requirement changed so I'm posing a similar question.
I want to have a checkbox in a datagrid.
Suppose I click on one of the checkboxes and then realize i need to click on another, the screen has to automatically uncheck the previously clicked checkbox and then check the newly clicked checkbox.
In other words I need to clear previously checked checkboxes and check the recently clicked checkbox.
Also, I need to update a label in the page with a value associated with the row of the checked checkbox.
I should not be using a javascript to do this.
I have datagrid, View details button on the datagrid. If I click on the button, It will redirect to another page with all the details.I have update button and return button on that page. If I click on update, It will update data in the database. If I click on the return button, It will return to previous page which has datagrid but I want the update details in the datagrid. I have a big doubt, how to store that datagrid so that we can retrieve data on return button

When I do, the row highlights itself in red as expected. So far, so good.I also have an independent Label on the same page and I want to update its Text value to a cell value from the DataGrid when I select a specific row.OTH the DataGrid (named GridView1) and the Label (named Label2) are within an UpdatePanel.PROBLEM: When I select a row from the DataGrid, the Label is not updated with the cell's contents. I have an SP in backend that retreives multiple recordset/DataTable where each recordset/Datatable contains 10 records and 8 columns.
The Count of recordset/Datatable differs based on parameters.
The SP retreives Data in nearly 0.01 seconds.
I have been displaying the records by looping each Datatable and each record in DataGrid Template Control, this way the page loads very slowly.
Can some one please suggest me on how to display/Load the data more efficiently and faster in front end ASP.NET 2.0?

I am developing an application to allow parents to book appointments to meet the child's teachers.
It is compulsory for parents to meet child's mentors, hence Appointments to meet class mentors are already pre-booked in the Appointments table.
Parents could still book appointments to meet other subject teachers. I have a column in my gridview to show parents the list of booked appointments. Parents are allowed to change the Appointment timeslot for an appointment they booked and are not allowed to change appointment time for pre-booked appointments.
Under the Remarks colum, it is stated that the following appointment is pre-booked by class mentor.
How do I make only those pre-booked rows read only since all the appointments belonging to a parent is under one GridView.
I found an example, but this is to only make the 1st 3 rows read-only and I don't think this is in VB coding. I'm usingASP.NET VB coding.
