1)Is there a better control to use than literal?I am using it because the text would have html and i must render it.
2)How i will achieve putting text beside the picture(the site uses a <strong> as i see in firebug but i cannot view the css and after that everything is simple text and some <br> )?
If i put the literal beside with <strong> and have a specific div size will the text automatically go below when reach the div limit?I'm asking because it will be html so i don't know if it(html) can surpass the main div container.

What I wat to do is create an array containing the objects when the page loads and store them in an array which can then be used later.

Jun 30, 2010I did some research after posting. All I found was simple examples for no-layer architectures, like connecting to a database from your aspx page, so, in a corporate environment, it is unnaceptable.
I need to call a server-side method (using ASP.NET Ajax) in a 3-layer architecture.
For example, my Default.aspx contains a method LoadProducts().

This cannot change. There is no way to convert Business and Data layers to static.
How can I call the LoadProducts() method using ASP.NET Ajax?

I can use a XML file as a basic data storage and am not intended to use any database for this. I can deal with the coding development of the web site, but I have not developed any web-site independently and have no detailed knowledge about how to host the site, etc. factors. Create A Report For The Entire Site?
Feb 19, 2010We have a website intended for students to enter their project information. The website will have 6 modules and each module will have about 7-8 webpages to enter data.
Now the client want to get a report of the project. Now we have about 6 modules and hence the total pages will come around 40. We developed a crystal report for showing this . It had around 60-70 subreports since we have around 40 pages!!!!and it was a painful way to create the report. Also the report took a lot of time to load....
We did it like this.... For each page a subreport... and we fill a dataset in the aspx page and assign it.... phew it was a bit of crazy stuff!!! at the end there were too datasets and the page went to database several times!!
