Has anyone implemented FancyBox to display a form where user can make an entry within a FancyBox dialog? I'm simply displaying an inline form within a FancyBox dialog but my button is not firing.If I do not set to style="display: none;", I can see my form i.e. a TextBox control and a Button control and it works fine. If I set it display: none so that I can show my form within a FancyBox dialog, it doesn't work.

I changed out a DropDownList with a ComboBox and used the Auqa style exactly and it won't work in an AJAX ModalPopupextender
here's my css : ( total width is 110px )
[Code]....
Anyone know if there's been a workaround? I can only see the box. The DropDown arrow is not appearing. It works fine outside of an Ajax panel.

I am using asp menu control and binding the menu items dynamically based on the screens table from the DB. here is the code how i am binding the menu from the DB.
for (int i = 0; i < dtLeftModules.Rows.Count; i++)
{
MenuItem objLeftMenuItem = new MenuItem();
objLeftMenuItem.Text = dtLeftModules.Rows[i]["Menu_Name"].ToString();
[Code]....
but when i select the menu item the page is navigated well.. but selsctedstyle is not applying.. still showing same color.
i guess the problem with ajax postback. because i have placed the menucontrol inside the updatepanel and gave the postback trigger target control id as topmenu control id. yes leftmenu is bind based on the topmenuitem click.

Here is my problem. I have on multiple occasions downloaded jQuery UI and tried to use it. What happens, though, is that in the examples provided in the download the UI elements look great, but in my pages when I try to use them all the formatting and style stuff is messed up. Here is an example of a date picker:
Bad Example
Here is my code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head>
<title>Reports</title>
<meta charset="UTF-8" />
<meta http-equiv="CACHE-CONTROL" content="NO-CACHE" />
<meta http-equiv="PRAGMA" content="NO-CACHE" />
[Code]....
For my page (an '.aspx' page, if that makes any difference) I have all the images in the image folder one level below the css file, just as it is in the example folder, and the script files are all together in another folder. Is there something I need that I don't have. I shouldn't need the "demo.css" file, should I? Is there a special naming convention for items in the form of the site? Is there some special way that I need to have the folders/css files/source scripts set up, like a certain folder configuration, to make it work? Kind of lost on this one. Probably a really simple fix, but I'm pretty new to using this.

I have developed a news blog in asp.net 4. When I display news using literal control, the news displays without paragraph. However when i use textbox in administrative site to input the news into db--The Textbox takes the paragraph style and displays it. However i don;t want to use Textbox to display my news. Is there any solution to display the news with the paragraph style and so on? The containing component is Datalist and this is my below code.

I'm dynamically binding tables and sub tables using nested listviews. On the client side I have a piece of jQuery that is toggling the visiblity of TRs witin the tables in order to provide a group expand / contract view option.
On postback I'm obviously loosing my class changes that I have applied via jQuery. I'm wondering what the best approach to maintaining these client side class changes is? I've considered creating a hidden input control per table to store the indexes of the visible TRs at the time of expanding them. The intention being to then look for the indexes during postback / rebinding and add the visible classes to each corresponding element.
Is there a better approach or some native method of passing back the client side style / class change to the server during postbacks?

My <style> for thumbnails currently looks like this:
<style type="text/css">
img.TN {
width: 100%;
margin-bottom: 5.294%;
cursor: pointer; }
</style>
This is annoying, because I have to apply this style to every single thumbnail image individually, when there could be any number of them on the screen at any given time. All of the thumbnails are inside a single <div> that groups them together, and I'd like to apply a single style to the <div> that will push the attributes I need down to all of the the <img> elements nested inside, regardless how many thumbnails there are.
I'm using ASP.NET 2.0, and CSS 2.0

I have implemented a lot fo JQuery features into my ASP.Net web application. I am using JQuery, JQueryUI, JQuery Validation and a couple of other plugins. They are all coexisting and working fine. This one page in my app has the JQueryUI tabs, Modal progress pop-up working just fine. This page also has a couple of JQuery AJAX calls to my server side events. That all works fine!
I just added a Jquery date picker to one of the text boxes on the first tab on my data entry form and nothing happens or is displayed when you click on the date textbox. I am going to post the HTML markup for the page and my JQuery code. Please let me know if you see anything glaring? HTML

I have the following jQuery that does find the ASP.NET server control (tested by placing an alert() inside block), but it does not set the height on the next DIV in the DOM using .next(). However if I use straight JS to do the same thing, calling the DIV by ID directly it works fine. What I am trying to do is not use the hardcoded ID of the DIV in case it changes, and rather walk the DOM to dynamically get to the element and set the height. So 1st: the HTML source of what I am trying to manipulate:
<div id="WebViewer" style="height:100%;width:100%;margin-right: 0px">
<input name="WebViewerReportReceipt" type="hidden"/>
<input name="WebViewerViewerType" type="hidden"/>
<DIV id="WebViewer_controlDiv">
<iframe src="295769102_1619997395_16141400_2120403583/CacheItem" style="width:100%;height:100%;"></iframe>
</DIV>
</div>
Next the non-working jQuery that I think should work:
//Using the 'DIV' that is created by the viewer (at runtime), resize it dynamically to fit the window
var myHeight = $(window).height();
if ($('#<%=WebViewer.ClientID %>') != null) {
$('#<%=WebViewer.ClientID %>').next('div').height(myHeight - 10);
}
And lastly the JS that does work, but I would prefer not to access that DIV by a hardcoded ID and use jQuery instead:
var myHeight = $(window).height();
//Using the 'DIV' that is created by the viewer (at runtime), resize it dynamically to fit the window
if (document.getElementById('WebViewer_controlDiv') != null) {
document.getElementById('WebViewer_controlDiv').style.height = myHeight - 10;
}
why walking the DOM in jQuery to get the 'next' div and set its height is not working?

I'm trying to include script and style references that will not break on deployment, however I can not even get the references to work locally. I have tried using Url.Content() and MVCContrib's <%=Html.ScriptInclude("")%>.
My scripts are in a Scripts folder on the root of the site; my styles are in the usual Content/css/ folder.
The scripts render like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/Scripts/MicrosoftAjax.debug.js" ></script>
This will not work in a view page in the Views folder. What am I doing wrong and what is the best way to handle this?
I would have thought Url.Content() would at least work for styles but used in my master page, the link rendered
<link href="/Content/css/Site.css rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
This does not work, because the Master Page is in a Shared folder, so what is really the way forward with this?
