Security :: GoDaddy - The UserID/Password Is Working Fine - But The Profile Isn't?

I got the login to work fine- go to [URL]if you want to give it a try. Here is the thing. The profile functionality doesn't work. It draws from the same set of files, it used the same connection string as the users, it work on my local machine, but blows up on GoDaddy because it cannot find the file, and when it tries to create it. The file it uses for the profile, aspnet_Profiles, is on there along with the rest of the membership files. The connection string is not defined individually. Why is it finding the user files, but not the profile file.
using Login control after entering userid and password if i press enter it is navigating to the defaulturl page mentioned in web.config.what shall i modify so tht if i press enter i should login
I have created a we app. using win authentication. When type the server ip addres in chrome I get the login window and it works just fine with my organizations credentials, however when doing the same using Internet Explorer I have to login with the server credentials as my account is not valid.
I have been trying to avoid the windows login userid and password window when I use the Windows Authentication mode for a web site. I need to capture the the windows logon user name without prompting for the user id and password and display that on the web site. I had tried almost everything... changed authentication,security setups on IE and IIS etc... still not being able to avoid the window...
i'm working in visual studio 2005 asp.net c#.i'm trying to learn about profile feature ... and it seems easy to use it but i have some questions ...i red some articles and tutorials about the profile feature but i dont understand where all the details that you store are stored ?in database ? xml file ?
i didnt try it yet but it seems logical to me that when you define properties in the web.config its creating tables in the database with the names you named the properties like : <profile > <properties> <add[code]....
then it will creat in the database "name" and äge" fields ? is that right ? .... if yes , where is the definition of the connection with the database ?if not, how does it work ? i know that the <connectionString> in the web config connect the database that i want to use and creat it tables. for the login and creat user .does the profile use the connection string and work with the database to !?
We moved our website from one production server to another production server. DNS propagation is not an issue here. Some users cannot login now and others can. Those that can login do not see the same menu items that they used to see prior to the move. It's like the profile provider is not working. I checked the web.config file and everything appears to be the same as it was before. Is there something else I forgot to move?
I created the Table Profile Provider with the VB.NET and it works perfectly but I have one issue with it.. My Table (UserProfile) can't be linked with any other tables because the UserID on userprofile is different than any other table yet when I do profile.firstname on the vb code it works perfectly. Say for example I have a username called john If I do select * from aspnet_users where username = 'john' The results would come to 2 rows, 1 which has a userid and applicationid that is used on ALL the tables in my database EXCEPT for userprofile The second one would have a applicationid and userid that is only use on my userprofile table.
I get this error while trying to run my project: "Column name 'UserID' appears more than once in the result column list." Indeed, the query generated in my SqlTableProfileProvider.vb is the following (text in brackets [] has been changed):

I'll emphasize that the above statement is generated in SqlTableProfileProvider.vb, which was written by .Net people. While I have little control over its source, I've apparently given the fodder whereby the mistake can be generated. Any clues as to why UserID is being written twice in the statement?
I am trying to use the asp.net contol recover password in my web page I cna load the page and enter the username and answer to the question fine but when I click on the submit button I get an error message saying System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: The operation has timed out

I have only put the recover password control on the web page I havn't added any formatting or code and all the other emails I have set to send work fine so can't see why the smtp setting would be wrong for this unless I need to add some code to my page.
3) After all this, when the test user enters the correct answer to the security question, nothing happens. I don't even receive the SuccessTemplate message--much less the test email with the password.
Is the problem that the correct answer to the security question is somehow not really being registered? Is the problem server-related? What I could I be doing wrong?
I have this code for changing a user's password when they click the password reset button (with extra code to log to ELMAH so I can try to figure out what is going wrong).
This is in ASP.NET MVC 2, using the standard aspnet membership provider, with a simple View like this:
New Password: ______ Confirm Password: ______ [Reset] [Cancel]
The route to this view is `/Account/Reset/guid`, where guid is the user's id in the aspnet membership database.
The key portion of the code is where it calls `user.ChangePassword()`. You can see that it logs a message when successful. The problem is that for some users, the success message is logged, but they can not log in with the new password. For other users it logs the success message and they can log in.

Edit: Adding a bounty to try to get this solved. This is one of the most annoying problems on my issue list, and I have no idea how to proceed.

My application is working fine in local environment but not working after push code in live. My locale environment and hosting environment both are having same configuration. Same app working fine 2 month before but in different domain but same hosting server.

I don't know why session got time frequently, but this issue not happening in local environment (desktop).

I have used session to the creation of user and led them to the edit page ..But how do I retrieve my userID off from the session, or are there other ways to retrieve userID from?

I hosted my project on Godaddy server and they say that the settings required for Url rewriting was already there.But I am getting a blank page when trying to use virtual url to redirect to a aspx page.
