After filling all the required information in any registration form, I want to capture the Date of submitting the form in Sql Server 2005 how to achieve this using Asp.net C#?

I am new in ASP.NET, Could you please help me and tell me how to (create a registration custom form and link it to sql database) so every time new register do the registration i need these data to be sent to me as well as to him as an e-mail message, where and how can i look up his data?
I have a web form called default.aspx which has a form with user information. In addition to this, I have an iFrame on the same page that displays a page Secondary-Form.aspx that has a few additional dynamic data fields. I need to do two things.
1. I need to pass the parent form data in real time to the iFrame page to refresh its content and modify it's fields accordingly. Example: If the user submits their Vehicle Choice as Car on parent form, the form item in iFrame will display a radio button that says Honda, and if the user submits their Vehicle Choice as MotorCycle in the parent page, the iFrame will display Harley Davidson as the radio button choice
2. The submit button is on the parent page. I want both pieces of this information (from the parent page, as well as iFrame selection) to be passed to a server side ASPX page to process this information.the default.aspx and Secondary-Form.aspx files are located on different domains.
I use a calendar to pick a date that I want to store in my MSSQL Database. I use the form format, like 2010-01-27 (european date format) with no time info. What MS SQL Date-type should I store this date in?

I have creted a form for a job submision it has a number of text boxes / date pickers / text edittor and async file uploader, onload it creates a random string and stores it in a text box (this becomes the job id) this id is also used to create a folder (of the same name) to store any file uploaded, I have tried to store the file location so I can add it to the database but the textbox/lbl remain empty.Secondly I would like to submit this form to a database I am using asp.net 3.5 with rules / membership / state on sql I would like to be able to post the user role / name as part of the data store if this is possible.I have attached my code the asyncfileUploader was converted from C# Demo and modified using suggestions found via google.
aspx file:
[Code]....
aspx.vb file:
[Code]....
the code seems to function fine apart from not returning the uploaded file location (so it can be downloaded via a link later)

I am using ASP.Net 4.0/Visual Studio 2010. However, I think it would be the same if it was ASP.Net/VB.Net 3.5. I am inserting three form filed values into a database table. I have placed a LoginName Control on the page and the login name is properly displaying. I am using forms Authentication and it is set up properly in the web config file. I simply want to insert the logged in username value into the database table so I can track who created the records. I am happy to be able to insert the UnserName or the UserID value. I assume both of the values are derived out of the aspnet_Users table. Being able to insert either one would be fine but I believe UserID would be better because it will always be unique.
simple registration form. Which is shown in grid view after submition. And the grid view has update and delete option.THE REGD FORM CONTAINS FOLLOWING CATEGORIES First name, last name, gender, dob, father's name, contact, address.
