1. In this case, every time I hit {Enter} the search button is fire but i want submit button fire

The function isNormalMode() is defined in the code behind file MasterPage.master.cs, and everything is working properly in the page Default.aspx, but in the rest of the pages it doesn't execute the function at any time, so the item always remain visible.

Jun 28, 2010I am working in a product which is developing using telerik rad controls. Site have a master page which includes rad toolbar for main menus like file, edit etc.
When the site worked in IE 8 the half of the menu got inside of the content page. I changed the compatability settings of IE 8 to comptabality view and it solved. So i can view the site correctly. But in firefox also have the same issue. There not any compactability settings like this ( i think). So how can solve this? I mean wat issue is this ? Any css issue or any control behaviour?

All works ok, but then i discovered that
Page_Load in Default.aspx is called two times, and both from method OnLoad in MyBasePage

base.OnLoad(e);
}
base.OnLoad(e) calls Page_Load.
I've got a site with such a structure of master pages and basepage, but it works ok, method page_load is called only once.
So why would in the second site PAge_Load be called twice?

Nov 18, 2010There's a master page that is used by all the pages in the app. This master page hosts a dynamically generated menu. Opening of pages etc. is almost always handled through Response.Redirect(). Here's the catch:
I login to the app and it shows me a default page, with the master page at the top. So the Page_Load() fires for the master page. So far good. Now I go through the menu and select an item. Clicking the menu triggers a postback where the Page_Load() of the master page is called again. After that the Page_Load() of the desired content page is fired, and then the Page_Load() of the Master page is fired yet again! So each time I click a menu item, the master page is loaded twice!
Master Page Menu Button Events Not Firing On Some Pages Only?
Aug 5, 2014I have a master page with a menu on it. I have found now two pages out of dozens where for some reason the master page events aren't firing. I've put a break point in there and it never hits it. Is there something that could cause a disconnect between the page and the master page events? Really weird it happens in Chrome and IE but they fire correctly in Safari.

I have a global master page and a bunch of user controls (.ascx) with action links defined without regard for 'areas' - is there a way to specify the default area to use when rendering action links and the like?
The problem occurs when navigating to an area; all the unspecified master page links do not link back to the default area (in my case the root). I.e.,Html.ActionLink("Home", "Index", "Home") renders as "/area/home/index" rather than "/home/index". Sep 5, 2010i'm developing a site using VS2010 and with my windows vista busniness OS. i used the default VS2010 wizard for new web application to create it. included a folder in the root directory and created new aspx pages to derive from the master page in the root directory of my site. everything shows on the new pages except the jpeg image logo in the master page. But other aspx pages i created in the root directory shows every thing fine.

Top Level Master page
Second Level Master page inherited Top Level Master page
Third Level Master page inherited Second Level Master page
However, changes (i.e. new images & alt. name) that I made in the Top level master page did not apply to the second or third levels.My webpage has a correct front page but not in the sections. How can i correct this ?
JQuery :: Menu Does Not Work For Pages Which Are In A Separate Folder Pages
Oct 24, 2010I have added a jquey menu in my master page its working fine for those asp.net pages which are at the same level as master page.
But this menu isn't working at all for all of those page which aur in Editor's and Admin's folder. In these pages menu is displaying as simple html menu and unfortunately no jquery effect is shown on it.
I'm very confused why this menu isn't working for the pages which are in a seprate folder while the master page is added at the root level outside of all these folders.

Nov 5, 2010I have an asp:Menu control on a master page that is reading its menu items from a web.sitemap file via a SiteMapDataSource.When I click on a menu, the new page loads which uses the same master page, but the ASP:Menu vanishes. I have put some plain text next to the menu for testing, this appears on the new page but the menu does not.Does anyone know how to get the asp:Menu to remain visible on the page?
