C# - Apply CSS List Style Buttons To Server Created Button Controls

I have some CSS that uses lists to create 3D buttons styles similar to the link below:

My problem is I have buttons which are server controls and thus render html buttons.
The question is how would I rewrite my button code to use lists and hyperlinks so I can apply the CSS which has been already written?
All I am doing in my button code is within the onclick event setting a string value and calling a method by passing it that string value.
I'm after is some onclick event equivalent i can hook my code into for hyperlink controls.

I'm making a custom modal popup using a bunch divs where the programmer can set how many buttons thay want to apprear on said popup programatically using a function. It works. The only problem is that when the programmer specifies the number of buttons he/she wants it wipes out the skin information for the whole control. If I comment out the call to CreateChildControls the skin works fine, but the new buttons are not created.
In my CreateChildControls function the first thing it does is call Controls.Clear(). I assume this is what's wiping out the skin information, but it's kind of necessary to prevent controls with duplicate IDs.

I have a column, description, in a GridView which has the most text data. As that column is defined as varchar(256), it can allow a string with 256 characters in it. In displaying, I don't want that column to stretch all the way. I use ItemStyle-Width to contain it to be 40% width. I also use word-break and word-wrap as:
GridView1.Attributes.Add("style", "word-break:break-all;word-wrap:break-word");
I guess this attribute apply to the whole GridView1. I have a column called category with possible data as "LINKAGE", "CURTAIN", etc. Now "LINKAGE" is broken up into "LINKAG" and "E" with the "E" goes to next line. The word "CURTAIN" have the "IN" goes to the next line.
Now how can I apply the word-break and word-wrap to only the description column?

I have a grid view that is bound from my code behind. If the text of a label is equal to the value of a querystring, I want to apply a specific class/style that is in my .css. I've tried this, but doesn't seem to have any affect... How can I set the class for a column in the gridview if the two values match?

i created a gridview with two columns and 8 rows dynamically. All the rows are empty and editable at runtime. I am giving column names for this grid from some other .aspx page by passing column names using querystring.Because i am using this grid for three different pairs of column names. i would like to know how to apply Required Field Validator, Regular Expression Validator and Range Validator on Gridview textboxes. So that by using those validators i want to validate user inputs. And i would also like to know how to add rows at runtime for this grid.
I am using ASP.net 2.0 and C#.net for this.(Visual Studio 2005)

sometimes we need to use the asp image control so we can generate empty alt tags (visual studio 2005 does not render any attributes set
to an empty string). I know how to do this and also how to remove the border style that is automatically added

We implemented this 6 months ago, however, only today have I discovered that it does not work when images are created dynamically.The first implementation was for asp images that have been set up within an aspx page:

The above works-no border style is rendered and the imageurl is populated in code.I have other pages where I'm building up sections dynamically using C# code, such as:-
System.Web.UI.WebControls.Image featureImage = new
System.Web.UI.WebControls.Image();
featureImage.GenerateEmptyAlternateText = true;
featureImage.ImageUrl = imageSrc;
divImage1.Controls.Add(featureImage);
divImageFeature.Controls.Add(divImage1);
When creating controls dynamically like this, the solution describe above does not remove the border style.

how to apply group name to html (input) radio button controls so that i can select any one of the available radio buttons?
I have input radios in a table. Each row contains two radios as follows. I want to select one from each row. But i am able to select only one radio button amongst all radio buttons present on all rows.

I'm using CurvyCorners for making control's and other HTML element's corners curve in IE. But unfortunately they are not curvy the corners of buttons, textboxes and images.

I have a webapp with a Masterpage and 4 or so content pages. I have created a theme folder with a style sheet. I put the <pages theme="Default" in the web.config. When I run the app all the styles in the style sheet apply and it looks great. But design view does not apply the styles from my theme. Design view does not use the web.config setting or something. How do I get design view to apply the theme styles.

Say I am creating a Textbox in the codebehind of a page like this:

and in my skin file I have this:

I am encountering one problem and it is this: I am having a different size of the same area in my asp.net page after a post-back. So I believe for some reason the style applied to that area changes, most likely.
And this made me to think if there is a way or a tool to compare 2 parts of a web page in terms of styling by highlighting the style property differences?
Something like a CSS comparison.

I have a modalPopupExtender in my aspx web page pointing to a Panel and in Code-Behind I create buttons which I want them to show the modalPopup, so I have:
buttonX.OnClientClick = "javascript:$get(" + modalPopup.ClientID + ").show();";
but instead it just does a PostBack, even if I put "return false;" at the end of the past code.
