I want to refresh a page on a specific time.
From http-equiv="refresh" content="30" the page is refresh very 30 seconds,But I want page is refreshed on the specific time. like page is refresh on 1:30 of every day.
I want that a specific asp.net control get refresh within a specified time period like there is datalist and i want that its content will be change after 10 sec.

How to aomatically refresh particular section of a web page Not whole page.
I want to auto refresh 2 different sections of a web page in my website without using javascript.
I have a forum area on my website and i would like to make forum main page in such a way that it should refresh itself every 2 minutes. How i can accomplish this ?
View 8 RepliesWhen a user visits our site they see a coverflow. They are not logged in so they cant see any images. Once they log in they should be able to see images in the coverflow but they cant because the flash object is being cached.
A user can get around this problem by setting the IE settings to (check for newer versions of stored pages every time they visit a site) however we need a way to force the browser to refresh the flash object once they are logged in, without telling all of our users to change the settings in their browser.
Is this possible?

It is supposed to refresh every night.... refresh is done by other vendor(3rd party).... we dont know what method(technology) they use to refresh the databases....

I have a problem with a simple error notification when I delete a specific product.
I have one page products.aspx
I have 2 categories
- Mobile (cat 1)
- Net (cat 2)
When i delete a specific product from a specific category I have a notification coming up "your product has been deleted..." and then after 2 sec, I want the current page to refresh, so the new and correct number of products is shown. My problem is, that I am requesting querystring "deleteid", while deleting the product, and then my querystring with "categoryid" is, of course, 0. All in all i need "products.aspx?categoryid=2" to refresh, but categoryid is ofc 0, when requesting "deleteid".

I have a table on my page. I need to scroll down a little to get to that table. In that table i have som data that i edit and save to database. When the save is done i need to refresh the page( Response.Redirect(Request.RawUrl )) so it loads the new data to that table. When the refresh is done the page is on top again so that i need to scroll down again to see the table. This makes it very unusable for the user.
How can i refresh the page without it going back to top again? I tryed wrapping an updatepanel around the table but it didnt

With this code, as soon as the page loads it redirects to that page. There are some text in this page that i want the user to see while the page is redirecting. What are my options? Should i use Timer? and tell it to redirect after two or three ticks?

I have set some key expiration (absolute expiration) to be 10 seconds (just for debugging).
I have also set a callback upon key removal.
The problem is that I see that the cache is getting refreshed after something like 20 seconds and not 10.
I am using HttpRuntime.Cache for this.

So, I am struggling to change my String (MDate) into a DateTime in the same format the user have and then convert it into my format:"dd/MM/yyyy" and after I have the date in the correct format, I want to change it back to string and save it in the database.I am doing this so that I have the same dateformat saved in my database.
