How To Refresh Currentpage With Specific Querystring Value (c#)

I have a problem with a simple error notification when I delete a specific product.
I have one page products.aspx
I have 2 categories
- Mobile (cat 1)
- Net (cat 2)
When i delete a specific product from a specific category I have a notification coming up "your product has been deleted..." and then after 2 sec, I want the current page to refresh, so the new and correct number of products is shown. My problem is, that I am requesting querystring "deleteid", while deleting the product, and then my querystring with "categoryid" is, of course, 0. All in all i need "products.aspx?categoryid=2" to refresh, but categoryid is ofc 0, when requesting "deleteid".

I know that i can use the VaryByParam attribute, but what it does is not exactly what i am aiming for.
What happens is that different versions of the page are cached based on the query string.
For example Page.aspx?ID=Tom has its own cached version and ID=Arnold has another. Now what i want to do is not to cache Arnold at all. I only want to cache the page when the query string is Tom.

The following code works well as long as I pass a querystring value to the datalist.

However, the page errors with the message "Value cannot be null." if I don't pass a value. I know that DataList does not have an EmptyItem Property like a Gridview control. I do not want the page to error if I don't pass a value. Need info to deal with empty values in a datalist.
Most websites have pointed me to this code to use:

The 'list' throws an error. The error is "Too few type arguments to 'System.COllections.Generic.List". I am not sure if the code is written in C# and that is what is causing the error. It seems that it should work but I can not figure out the 'list' error.

I have a problem when I try to pass in paramaters for a report in my report viewer. I have set up the ObjectDataSource and set the paramaters for 3 text boxes that are on the page. The only way I have found to set the paramaters for the report is the user must fill in the paramaters and hit the refresh button on the Report Viewer toolbar ,but I would like to have the user click a asp.net button insted. Is there anyway to call the refresh method from codebehind?

I'm intermittently seeing this exception being thrown:
A potentially dangerous Request.QueryString value detected
However when I look in the IIS logs I can see that the request that failed has no querystring logged against it.
How could this be? Are "dangerous" query strings being stripped from the log or something?

we have a sql server 2005...that has 70-80 databases and hundreds of tables....
It is supposed to refresh every night.... refresh is done by other vendor(3rd party).... we dont know what method(technology) they use to refresh the databases....
My question is .....
Is there a good way to know when the last refresh has happend...can we determine it from sys tables.....
the sql server is installed in window server 2003 box.... we have access to the box as well as the sql server.....

This is my Controller Action which takes a Page entity from database and shows it in the Show.aspx view using the "Site.Master" master page:

Using this approach i can show "Page.Title" in Show.aspx using any master page that has a "MainContent" placeholder, but my real goal is if i can when i choose the MasterPage for that particular Page to also see a list of available ContentPlaceHolders and when i choose one to then render "Page.Title" in that particular ContentPlaceHolder.

My application for "Members subscriptions registration" working online and different users using it.
Database type is Mssql Server 2008 R2, Size is around 1 Gb
What happen exactly there is specific record delete from table "Members" in random times, For example I add 100 new subscriptions with around 800 records and make confirm and checking next day find it loss 3 records find it deleted.
I checked all the applications no any delete query, I removed all delete query from application to make sure no any delete also I save any delete query happen in system inside table for log.

My Company registered in certain services on the Web and are relying on the company's Ip to use these services, Director asked me to allow some staff to enter these sites from outside the company,after authorized staff enter to comany's site, How could they use the company's Ip to allow them to browse services sites ? I have a table on my page. I need to scroll down a little to get to that table. In that table i have som data that i edit and save to database. When the save is done i need to refresh the page( Response.Redirect(Request.RawUrl )) so it loads the new data to that table. When the refresh is done the page is on top again so that i need to scroll down again to see the table. This makes it very unusable for the user.
How can i refresh the page without it going back to top again? I tryed wrapping an updatepanel around the table but it didnt
