My environment is using Microsoft Exchange Sever and if I send my company address each other, there is no problem.
(e.g: my email addrss is [URL] and receipent address is [URL]
But when I send to [URL] I mean any other external mail address, I cannot send... the error message appears like this :

Sep 13, 2010I have coded my application to send mail and it works fine some of the time depending on the to or from address specified in the particular message but at other times I am getting a relay error.
"The server will not relay mail for foreign domains".
I HAVE authenticated myself to the mail server using a valid username and password in the code.Basically here is the setup. Our site is hosted overseas in the states with one company, our nameservers are also in the states but with our company not the hosting company. Our mail server is local (that is here in New Zealand). I'm pretty sure that the code is right because I've read dozens of posts on here which point to coding errors and it seems to be right.
Do I need MX records or anything like that in some place?

Mar 5, 2010I am working with c# and asp.net application.
I am using email id in particular domain.For Example test@domain.com.It's a active email.I can get email from particular mailId.I try to sent email to particular emailid using dedicated server information I got following error message. I can sent emails in all the domain except particular domain email.
The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not local
If I used shared server information I can successfully sent email to paricular emailId.
How can successfully sent email to particular domain mailid.

The server response was: 5.7.1 EMAILADDRESS: Relay access denied See where it gives EMAILADDRESS is the actual email address i want it to be sent to. The web url is below:- [URL] If you look at the bottom right "Parents get in touch" section. Try filling in the form and submitting it. You will get an error. Now just so you know the website is currently running on a test domain on DiscountASP and i was thinking maybe when the website is live the email will start working? ....

Jan 28, 2011I have a website in IIS 6.0 using an application pool with a custom service account. when I browse the website, I get an error "service unavailable" and the error in event log says "The identity of application pool 'SampleAppPool' is invalid, so the World Wide Web Publishing Service can not create a worker process to serve the application pool. Therefore, the application pool has been disabled". I think the utility "Aspnet_regiis" can be used to grant access to an account to IIS metabase according to the article [URL but is that the right way to fix this issue? because this utility is used for multiple things and may do more than just granting the permissions to the account, or should I just add the account manually to "IIS_WPG" group?

Feb 22, 2011I have a custom built CRM that is 99% written in Classic ASP/VBScript. Currently we use a FDF to PDF script that generates a bunch of PDF files (depending on which PDF you are choosing to merge.)
Almost exactly the same time every day, at around 9:30 AM my users can no longer use the function as the error "Server Application Unavailable" appears when they try to use the function. The error then may happen randomly or nearly every 2 hours thereafter - but it depends on usage. In order for me to fix this, I have to either restart IIS, or Recycle the App Pool.
The App Pool that the site resides is independent of all other applications on the server.
The script was written in .NET by a 3rd party company and I can post the code here if required.

Mar 23, 2010I am unable to connect to my local instance of SQL Server 2008 Express using SQL Server Management Studio.I believe the problem is related to a change I made to the connection protocols. Before the error occurred, I had Shared Memory enabled and Named Pipes and TCP/IP disabled. I then enabled both Named Pipes and TCP/IP, and this is when I started experiencing the problem.
I have now set Named Pipes and TCP/IP back to disabled. When I try to connect to the server with SSMS (with either my SQL server sysadmin login or with windows authentication), I get the following error message:
"A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 233)"
My first question here is: why is it returning a Named Pipes error? Why isn't it using Shared Memory? It seems like it is not listening on Shared Memory for some reason?When I set Named Pipes to enabled and try to connect, I get the same error message.My windows account is does not have administrator priviliges on my computer.

I'm using the standard way for send HttpWebRequest

As you can see from Fiddler/SOAPUI it does return the SOAP fault, however using HttpWebRequest i can't capture the response.
Returning 500 triggers my exception handling and Capturing the WebException doesn't expose the response.
Does anyone know how to capture this response xml in the case of 500 Internal Server Errors.
AJAX :: AsyncFileUpload - Server Response Error - Maximum Request Length Exceeded
May 6, 2010When the user tries to upload a file with a size more than 4 MB, the AsyncFileUpload control gives a Confirmation alert (with "OK"/"Cancel" button) with the following message "Server Response error: Maximum Request Lengh Exceeded". But when the User clicks the "OK" button a new window popups and shows the server error and on clicking the cancel button the AsyncFileUpload background color turns red. Here I am not sure why the control is showing a Confirmation alert instead of a simple alert message. Is it possible to change the Confirmation alert with the simple alert message? Basically I don't want the popup window to show the server error as it is happening currently. Also, is there a better way to handle the file size error and show apporiate error message to the users?
