Showing Disclaimer When User Click On Link Outside Our Website
Jan 7, 2010
I need to create an option for our website that when a user clicks on a link that is going to take them outside of our website, that they get a disclaimer. Is there a standard way to do this in asp.net?
1. I need to load a user control on link click event of a link button during postback of aspx page.
2. On button click event of a save button on that aspx page, I need to read the selected values from that user control on further postback.
If I write the loadcontrol code in link_click event, the control is not recognized at all in the button_click event. When I shift it to page_init and execute only during not postback, the user control loads with default values.
i created search engine using Google search API in asp.net.
if i click search list link another new site will open.when i click new site i want to save corresponding link with logo like bookmarks link to sql in asp.net
i have a hyperlink button which i assign few value (eg: custId, custDetail, custProd) then when user click on the link, it will pass all those value to another page. my question here is how can i get those value to display in the other page??
Here is what i am trying to do I have a multiview and two views in it so based on click event the link the views change
[code]....
apparently they are not firing on first try. The reason i am doing this is the two views have tables with different images to be used in building my menu.
What am i doing wrong? or why is the click event firing on second try?
I have a login status object on each page for logging out. Clicking on this object will logout the user and navigate to the login page. I would like to set it up when a page is loaded, if certain conditions are met the user will be automatically logged of and redirected to the login page. If I could just somehow have the program click on that object, that would do the job.
I am using Linkbutton inside the Repeater Control to display the paging ........and m calling Page change event on client click ....m attaching u code that m using it work fine in some webform but somewhere it didn't go the page change method on clicking page no. .....
I need a Gridview where by a user will click a link in a row and it will react like another row below expanding. This expanded row will containa number of other controls including a gridview. I have seen this in action on the MSDN subscription website. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as I do not where to begin.here is a link to something similar to the MSDN version [URL]
I have a gridview control with a details column. I want the user to click details and it give me a pop-up showing details of the particular row. Any idea on how to do this using JQuery?? Looking for an example with code..
I'm trying to let a user enter the name of a website in a textbox and click on a button. When the button has been clicked the website URL should be sent to a method which will use a WebBrowser to navigate to the website and take a screenshot of it. Further it should afterwards grab this screenshot and generate a thumbnail of it.
... And the tricky part
The tricky thing is that according to MSDN the System.Drawing should not be used in neither Windows or ASP.NET services, which leaves me with 2 approaches:
Ignore the MSDN and implement the class which contains the necessary methods.
For example, i browse the web page in browser, at first, i clink "home", home page is show out, then i click the "Contact us", then the "contact us" web page is showing out, BUT the problem is come out when i try to click the home page again, the home page doesn't come out and still at the contact us page...any1 know WHY?Thank you for helping...
I am trying to test emails using the local PickupDirectory. The code seems to work only in that an email is send to the local directory, but it appears like this: [URL] ....
Where it says 'Please click....here..', the 'here' should be a link.
This is the code I have:
Code: Protected Sub SendPost_Click(ByVal sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles SendPost.Click Dim SMTPMail As New System.Net.Mail.MailMessage() Dim sbody As New StringBuilder() sbody.Append("Please click <a href='http://usingasp.net/reset_pwd.aspx'>here</a> to reset your password")
To complete my previous site, I need to show a specific link in one of my pages to users who have the admin role only. Is that possible and how can I do it?
I want people to download files, EXE & DOCs from my website but I want to track the download, therefore I don't want them to now the real url so they won't be able to go there directly to download
After submitting a form, the user is presented with a link to a pdf document. The link is straight to the document, it is not streamed.
If the user right-clicks and chooses 'save link as,' the document saves and opens fine. However, if the user just clicks on the link, the browser takes a very long time to respond (I'm going to guess it's 3 minutes) and then adobe reader gives the following error:
"the file is damaged and could not be repaired"
This is in Chrome v5, ASP.NET 3.5 and the link is returned inside an UpdatePanel.
When a user wants to view another user profile on user profile page this error will show up

URL.... Still there will be need of url in ajax method if i put javascript in site.master.cs . As what i have understood from that mysite.master.cs will be like this :
In the IIS, it shows that the web app (i'm using) is using an application pool that uses NETWORK SERVICE account for identity. But when I debug/run my web app, User.Identity.Name shows that my windows user login instead. I checked my web.config file, and it does not have Impersonate enabled. In fact, I set it to false, and it still shows the same.
Into below code which is working fine, but the last section which started from using (SqlCommand SendMailcmd ... update it as i want when the user click on the button the code take the AdsID and (QAdsEmail "the user email") and send an e-mail to user depending on QAdsEmail and inside the email create a link to URL... so the user when he receive the mail he can click on it and move to the page to edit his Ad info ...
The table where below info will store in is called "ads" and the column that's need for sending email with ad info/the E-mail part of the code below i just copy it from another part of my application ...
