I have a dropdown list and a button. When you click the button it will set all the dropdowns to a value using JQuery. The drop down is inside a div with a unique id. Is there any way I can get JQuery to set a drop down list value that is in a div without giving it a div class or id? I've attached the html, its just three drop downs each one inside a div class.
View 1 RepliesI have a master page with an accordion in it inside the accordion panel1 are 3 dropdownlists (ajax cascading) and a button when the default page is loaded i want to select the dropdown values(this works) and then click the button to redirect to another page called test.sapx (this works). The thing i also want to do is pass the dropdownlist values to the new page as the dropdownlists reset. I was trying to do this through the click event on the button and set them in a session variable. The click event isn't firing at all. The page redirects and then if i click the button again it fires the event?
View 4 RepliesI have a link button in a repeater control. the li element is drag and droppable using jquery. when the page loads the the link button works perfectly, the jquery that is attached and the server side code both execute. when I perform a drag and drop then click on the link button it doesnt not fire. when i click it a second time it does fire. If i perform 2 or drag and drops in a row the link button doesnt fire a as many drag adn drops as i before it will fire. for example if if perform 3 drag and drops then it will take about 3 click before the events are fired.

I have a button within a TabPanel and i have a button click function written in Jquery that is not executing when i click the button. If i remove the tab panel and container it works, but i would like to use the tab panel/container functionality. See code below:

I have a LoginView element in an Update panel and use JQuery to hide the div containing the update panel when the cancel button(Html) is clicked.
It works fine normally. However, when I enter an invalid password and there is an error message displayed, the Javascript attached to the Cancel button click stops firing.

How can i dynamically add textboxes and dropdown lists on a button click. I'll be showing 4 text boxes and 1 dropdown list initially with a link button ADD MORE, Then after clicking ADD MORE button i need to generate same 4 text boxes and dropdownlist exactly in the below row as in EXCEL sheet.
I'm having a SQL table with 4 textboxes and a drpdown list values as columns and i need to insert them into the database. i previously worked on the same requirement where i've collected multiple values frm a listbox control and looped all the selected items and comma seperated them and inserted them into table(here the case is different, there is only one row so it became simple and straight forward during insertion). Now i need to loop throguh all the 4 textbxes which user enters and need to insert those 4 textboxes values into DB under same columns.
I want to retrieve a dropdown seleted value on click of a button but, on button click I am unable to retrieve the value as Page postback occurs and the dropdownlist get populated again.
I tried using the !IsPostback for the dropdown populte functionality but nothing. Even tried setting the seleted value on pageload itself before dropdown populate but again null come to the string.
I feel that because of nested master pages ( Iam using Parent.Master over Home.Master which consumes abc.aspx) I am unable to retrieve the values.

I have a page with a table on it with some information. I also have an asp.net button that I use to send an e-mail with the table markup. Currently, I am regenerating the table and storing it in a string and sending that as the body of the E-mail. What I would like to do instead is use JQuery's html function to grab the table markup of the page and store that in the variable to be used the e-mail body.

I work with dynamic webuser controls. Depending on a choice in a dropdownlist, I load the webuser controls from my database. In the Page_Load event, I load the controls. When the controls are loaded and a button is pressed, the values that are filled in,in the webuser controls' textboxes, must be saved in the database. when I click the button, the values of the textboxes are empty again.
