Menu For All Pages In Project

I am in the planning stage for developing an asp.net internal site with C# code behind. I will need a menu at the top of every page that is essentially a navigation menu that allows the user to hover over the header and select the page from the sub-menu that they need to access. So data structure would be
Category Name Category Name Category Name Category Name
--Page 1 Name --Page 1 Name --Page 1 Name --Page 1 Name
--Page 2 Name --Page 2 Name --Page 2 Name --Page 2 Name
(just a snippet, their will actually be 10 Categories, with the MAX having 12 pages listed unerneath it)

I have added a jquey menu in my master page its working fine for those asp.net pages which are at the same level as master page.
But this menu isn't working at all for all of those page which aur in Editor's and Admin's folder. In these pages menu is displaying as simple html menu and unfortunately no jquery effect is shown on it.
I'm very confused why this menu isn't working for the pages which are in a seprate folder while the master page is added at the root level outside of all these folders.

I installed Web Dev Express 2008 a while ago. Today I installed asp.net mvc 2, but the "New project" menu item does not appear on the File menu. I tried reinstalling both, but nothing happens. I also installed the beta of Web Dev Express 2010 but the New project menu appears there, but with no MVC template under it. I'm using the platform installer, it seems it is not installing it properly because the checkbox for ASP.NET mvc2 is never checked, which it should be because I've installed it.

There's a master page that is used by all the pages in the app. This master page hosts a dynamically generated menu. Opening of pages etc. is almost always handled through Response.Redirect(). Here's the catch:
I login to the app and it shows me a default page, with the master page at the top. So the Page_Load() fires for the master page. So far good. Now I go through the menu and select an item. Clicking the menu triggers a postback where the Page_Load() of the master page is called again. After that the Page_Load() of the desired content page is fired, and then the Page_Load() of the Master page is fired yet again! So each time I click a menu item, the master page is loaded twice!

I am trying to deploy an ASP.NET 3.5 Web Application to my production server and I am using the Web Deployment Project for this purpose. I have a folder named MasterPages in the root of the application which contains all the master page files. When I build this project in the release mode and deploy it on to the server I am getting the below error message:
Directory 'C:inetpubwwwrootMasterPages' does not exist. Failed to start monitoring file changes.
I am using ASP.NET AJAX and the ToolkitScriptManager is on the master pages. I have noticed that the MasterPages folder is missing from the release build.

I published a project called TestSample which has 2 pages page1.aspx and page2.aspx and application dll Test.dll in bin folder.
what i need is, i want to create a new page called page3.aspx and page3.aspx.cs through programmatically which is done by file stream object, my need is to publish this page3.aspx to the TestSample virtual directory and also page3.aspx.cs has to be merged with Test.dll so that code behind should be avoided.

I am working in a product which is developing using telerik rad controls. Site have a master page which includes rad toolbar for main menus like file, edit etc.
When the site worked in IE 8 the half of the menu got inside of the content page. I changed the compatability settings of IE 8 to comptabality view and it solved. So i can view the site correctly. But in firefox also have the same issue. There not any compactability settings like this ( i think). So how can solve this? I mean wat issue is this ? Any css issue or any control behaviour?

I have a master page with a menu on it. I have found now two pages out of dozens where for some reason the master page events aren't firing. I've put a break point in there and it never hits it. Is there something that could cause a disconnect between the page and the master page events? Really weird it happens in Chrome and IE but they fire correctly in Safari.

I got a new domain name for my project that I developped and I went in and changed all the old domain names to the new ones thru out the project and it actaully seemed to work. For a few days now when I first go to the page it askes me to login like it should then when I navigate to other pages it asks for login again once logged in that page then works well if I navigate to a new page for the session it asks again to login. I am using forms authentication.

i havent uninstalled Visual studio 2010 .... for some requirements i had to repair my visual studio 2010 installation... now after repairing or reinstalling (not uninstalling and then installing, i reinstalled from the visual studio installation options) the visual studio 2010 i noticed that the asp.net Mvc template has vanished ... i tried to repair/ reinstall again but somehow it doesnt come up ... the template is not reflected into the visual studio new projects menu... as a result i am not able to load any of the mvc projects either ....
is there any possible way apart from uninstalling /repairing or reinstalling the visual studio i can get back my template again ? into my visual studio.... like wise somewhat kinda manual customization or like that ?
