My dataset/datatable/sp returns 8 receipt records for particular accountid. I want to display each receipt (record) as ItemTemplate in DataList (with my desired html layout) hence the code above. But i am getting 36 receipts displayed in datalist with some of them repeated.
I derive the list of images as follows have a drodown list which contains the possible filders. The user selects the folder and clicks a button to display the images. On the button click I get the contents of the folder using getfileinfo|(0 and add the details to a datatable. I create a field in the table that contains the path and the imagename (fieldname imagePath)
My database table contains the image file path which will be stored from a file upload control.The image path in the table will be like "C:ProjectsprojectnameprojectfolderFiles1_129308367798080000_images1.jpg"

I know how to store and retrieve images into the sql database. My question in how do I iterate over the retrieved images to convert to a byte[] array and bind to the image control in the datalist?
i added an independent sql count statement in the code behind and want to display the results of the count in a datalist. the query needs a the parameter value of "courseID" to work except i am having difficulty getting the value to string.

The problem is that i have a search page. Access Database holding the information. I have a Access Datasource on the page with a Datalist to show the data. I need to find a way on setting it up to says "Sorry no results found" when the is no results. i am unsure on how to do this though.
What I'm trying to do is on page load display either of two controls based on how many items are in a datalist. For instance, if the datalist only contains 1 item I want it to display
Literal1.Visible = true;
If there is more than 1 item in the datalist, show
Am building a Form for out intranet that runs on ASP.NET and C#, it is to be a survey from a SQL database. I have the connections setup can pull informations/Questions from the database. I am having a problem with setting up radio buttons within a datalist, ive never done this and i know they require unque names.
It is to be 4 radio buttons per question where only one can be select, i know how to group just not via a datalist with unique names
I am trying to place a datalist inside datalist. I managed to place a datalist inside gridview but not datalist inside datalist.
Below is the code I am using to bind the datalist into the master gridview, I am trying to change this code in such way it will be right for datalist inside datalist but so far I did not succeed.
i have a datalist . that is contains 7 columns in repeat layout .when i have more from 7 columns , datalist style is normal .but when i have smaller than 7 columns ! data list style is not normal,
because there are some empty columns without specific schema.
How i can make a datalist > when i have 1 columns in my datalist my first layout width be 100% ;
I have a datagridview control that I'm using to display cache data to the end used on a web form. The issue that I'm having is that every time I re-run the application, and the cache data is re-generated... it loads duplicate data that's being displayed to the end user. I can't seem to figure out how to keep this from happening.
What I would like to have happen is that only unique data rows be returned and cached for the end user. Unless there are new data rows on the database that needs to be included in the cache data results...the previous data results should not be duplicated. I've tried to change a few properties on the datagridview control, but nothing seem to keep this from happening.
I'm getting duplicated rows of data showing up in my GridViews. I have two GridViews, each showing different data. I'm using SQL queries to retrieve the data from 2 database tables (1 query pulls from one table and the other query pulls from a second table, but references the first table in the WHERE clause). The GridViews were not duplicating data until after I added the Data Binding code to each GridView event handler and the button click event handler (outside of the GridView). I double checked my SQL queries by running them in TOAD and did not get any duplicated rows. So the issue is not with the SQL queries. It appears to be the GridViews causing it, or the Data Binding, or combination of those two, but I'm not sure what it is.Has anyone heard of or seen this? If needed, I can post my VB code and GridView code.
My page has Grid View & ObjectDataSource to bind data. In page preRender event and not post back I updating the Panel to display data. Suprisingly, it displays duplicate data. I check my stored procedure and it returns Rows correctly.
There is two checkbox group which have same datasource, so in both case same checkbox are showing and also same event is firing for both. Here is the event code
Now what i want to do is, while check one checkbox from the 1st checkbox group the same checkbox should be selected from the second checkbox group automatically, also if i deselect one checkbox that should be deselect from both checkbox group.
I Am working on payment gateway integration, i am storing whole information about the transaction on page load event. so when i press refresh button then Duplicate data is again inserting in database So i want to stop this.
