I am trying to set href using Jquery inside click event of RadioButtonList but that doesn't work If I take the same code to document.ready event it works fine but not in click event.

I am developing a web site to display some data that is inside a database. To do this I've created an ASPX web page that opens a connection to a database and retrieves the desired data. After that it populates an asp:table object dynamically.
The problem is that some of the fields that are retrieved from the database are too large to be displayed on the web page, so I decided to make a popup that would be able to display just the desired field.
To do this I've added a button to the asp:table so that when the user clicks it the popup would appear with the contents of the field. However what is happening is that when the user clicks on the button, the page just gets reloaded and the Click event handler is never called.
Below is the code in which I add the button to a TableCell, and the TableCell to the TableRow collection:

note that the popupHandler is a delegate to the function below. I am using it as a the Click event handler for testing purposes.

Also you should be aware that the table is only populated when the user clicks on a "Query" button inside the main ASPX web page, this means that I only populate the table after the PageLoad event has occurred.
i have one master page and the ContentPlaceHolder that are inside UpdatePanel. I have too, buttons in master page thad feed the ContentPlaceHolder e update the UpdatePanel. When i click on any master page button, it load one UserControl inside ContentPlaceHolder. But inside one of this UserControls have a Button, that when i click on, it dont fire the click event.

When I click on Home,I am getting Javascript error Button1_Click is undefined,but it is defined in the code behind,you can see above.
I've found posts about making a click event with jQuery for a button, however I need a little more then that. When any postback occurs on a page, I need to fire off a jQuery click event. Based on a condition, I want to continue processing (including running the server-side event code after the jQuery code), or, perform a redirect. I'm not quite sure how to go about this.

I am using fullCalendar and I'm able to populate the calendar with events very easily. And I undertsand the best way to add events to the calendar is through the database. What I need now is to catch and populate an edit event form after the user clicks an event.
View 1 RepliesI have a link button in a repeater control. the li element is drag and droppable using jquery. when the page loads the the link button works perfectly, the jquery that is attached and the server side code both execute. when I perform a drag and drop then click on the link button it doesnt not fire. when i click it a second time it does fire. If i perform 2 or drag and drops in a row the link button doesnt fire a as many drag adn drops as i before it will fire. for example if if perform 3 drag and drops then it will take about 3 click before the events are fired.

This is a weird issue. I have a List view with 2 Link buttons. "Edit" and "Delete" Iam able to attach an event handler for the first linkbutton(Update). Code in the event handler executed fine. But If I try to attach a event handler for the second link button(Delete) , I get an error.

here's the thing, i have an update panel with 3 panels inside... The page start with the first panel visible, the rest not visible. I have an script inse of my panel that shows some RSS, when started, it works.
On event click of one button, the second panel gets visible, the rest not visible...simulating a tab panel. but! i have an script inside my second panel just like the first one, and it seems that they dont execute when the event happens. in fact! i click on the button to show the first panel and doesn't appear the rss...

I'm having trouble managing how to call upon databind from clicking on a row over an already populated repeater that will populate data regarding the row clicked TO another repeater on the same page.
I've succeeded doing that with postback, calling a jquery click event of that row, taking the data of the specific row and passing it onto a "Querystring" and after postpack, it will be pushed into a Session which the ObjectDataSource of the secondary repeater will recognize and populate the data tables accordingly.
The problem is, I must do it without a postback or in other words purely on client side.

Button click event from inside the accordion pane is not firing. Accordion pane contains tab container inside one of its panes (5th pane) to read data from user and to save that data into database.
