Caching ASP.NET Users Related Data Within WCF Service?

My requirement is to call WCF web service from ASP.NET code behind and pass some data for example:void Add(int x, int y);Result of the operation should be somehow stored within WCF web service (member variable).
Later user should be able to call double Equals();and get the result of the operation. Of course since it's an open website many non-authenticated users can open the ASP.NET page and call the web service.
Alternatively Add method can return "key" that can be used to get result back,

I have a usercontrol with asp:textbox controls on it that also performs postbacks. If two users, who are both identified by a different session variable, postback the page within the same second, one user will see the other user's viewstate values in the text boxes. I have validated that this happens by setting a textbox, a session variable, and a cookie to the same value (the same value that identifies the user) and writing to the log when all three don't match. I have an enterprise system that is used by a handful of WinForms clients and a public-facing ASP.NET site. A backend WCF service provides several services to be consumed by each of these clients. The services require message credentials, which in the case of a WinForms app is supplied by the user when the program first starts.
I cache ChannelFactories in the WinForm apps for performance. I would like to do the same on the ASP.NET site. However, since ClientCredentials are stored as part of the factory (ChannelFactory<T>.Credentials), will I need to cache one ChannelFactory per service per user? It seems that even under moderate use that will add up quickly. Additionally, I believe I will need to store them at the application-level, not the session-level, since for future scalability I can't guarantee that I will always be using InProc session state.

I have a page with a number of user controls, In one of my user controls I have a button event. I turn on output cache for the user control that has the button and vary by control using the ID property of a hidden field control in the user control. whenever I turn on the output cache my button event doesn't fire.

The idea is that the user logs into the website and is then authorised for all services. I do not want to have a login aspect to my Silverlight application to authenticate users.Therefore I dont want anyone to be able to call my service who is not authenticated.
Could I...Somehow determine this for each Operation Contract. I had a look inside the OperationContext object but couldnt find anthing that stood out as a way to determine who the user was.Somehow attribute the ServiceContract so that the method can only be used by authorised users?Put something in my web.config to stop unathorised users from being able to access the folder containing the services?

I had created a Membership ASP.NET 3.5 website and selected the Forms authentication. Therefore, I created several users with related information into the ASPNETDB database. Yesterday, I changed the website security to Windows authentication.
This morning, when reviewing the ASPNETDB data for another website, I still can see those Membership Forms users and their ApplicationIDs in the aspnet_Users and aspnet_membership tables. How can I delete those Forms users?
Another question: In aspnet_Applications table, I can see the ApplicationName (e.g. /WebPartsDemo) for the Web Parts websites. I have 2 ApplicationIDs in the aspnet_Membership table. I can not see only one ApplicationID in the aspnet_Applications table, but with an empty ApplicationName, i.e. / only.
Do I miss something when creating the Membership website? What is the ApplicationName for the Membership website?

I have written code that uses a .bat file (code: rwvinstat /server:servername) that populates a DataGrid of users logged in to a terminal service session in c#. The .bat lives on the server with the app. files and will run properly if executed manually on the server .Also if i run the app. locally and call the .bat file on the server it works fine.
The problem is when i deploy my web app on the server the DataGrid never populates nor do i get any errors. i have given full permissions to IUSER_MACHINENAME(and various users) and i set the virtual directory permissions to read, run, execute. I have the following scenario. An user uses the desktop application to call our WCF Service which has windows authentication. The WCF Service calls the Office Communication Server (OCS) in order to do some custom work.
When the WCF Service calls OCS we have to pass an instance of NetWorkCredential into the call. I want to pass in the original calling users NetworkCredential object into the OCS call rather than constructing it using a custom username and password. How do I get access to the calling users NetworkCredential object from the WCF service and pass it to the OCS call?

I tried doing that using my stored procedures with the LIKE operator, but i guess that doesn't work because it does not take the whole string of the title and match with the ones in the database.

I am using an ADO Entity Model for my ms-sql database.
My database has a Resellers table which has ResellerID (primary key, int) and Name columns along with other data.
I also have an Orders table which contains OrderID (primary key, int), OrderDate, ResellerID (foreign key to Resellers.ReselerID).
If I just do a query like:
[Code]....
I am able to reference order.Reseller.Name just fine with no problems.
However I have an EntityDataSource on my page as follows:
[Code]....
Notice the Include="Reseller" attribute in the datasource... I also have a GridView tied to that datasource as follows: I cut some of it off for breavity:
[Code]....
Now what I have listed above will run with no errors, but what I want to do is replace the column that displays "ResellerID" with the equivilant to order.Reseller.Name. In other words I want my grid to display the reseller's name rather than the numeric ID.
I have tried to change the DataField to "Reseller.Name" but that will generate the following error:
A field or property with the name 'Reseller.Name' was not found on the selected data source.
Is there anyway to do this without me writing a custom select statement in my code behind?

I've got a gridview that is databound with LINQ in the code behind. One column shows the id from the table. I would like to show a more human friendly product name that is associated with that id number but is from another table. Thought I had it figured out by entering a Template field in the gridview tags (in the .aspx page) and an item template within that with
<ItemTemplate>
<%Eval(Products.productName")%></ItemTemplate>
but when I try to build it says this can only be done in the context of a databound control.
Can I add this column within the gridview tags or does it have to be done from the code behind?

I've always been a bit unsure how to check for the existance of properly referenced table data.
In my situation I have various tables related to each other in many-to-one relationships where the "1" side can be deleted without the reference fields on the "many" side being updated (nulled).
I have FK relationships set up in my MS SQL server database but have turned off the FK constraint enforcement (and cascading update/delete) so that I can delete records from the "1" side but leave the keys for those deleted records in the records on the "many" side. This is something I really need to do for my web app design.

I am using entity framework. My model has entity tblGameInfo where in navigation properties are associations called tblPlayer1 and tblPlayer2 which links to entity tblPlayer. I have listview on my page where I want to show game info with players names. I have found that in of listview I should have e.g. one of those:

But it does not work. I got nothing displayed in a listview. I have tried many different options but cannot find working one. Probably is some simple mistake but I am new to asp.net and cannot find it. Second problem with this is editing. In edit template there is dropdownlist with all players.

How do I databind it? It is not allowed to bind and change properties? It writes me that element does not exist on a list of elements.

Am not sure how to go about this... but i have two ddls on a formview which are not related but just insert and update into each other... Both are binded to the objectdata source....
Am issue just came up and i am looking for the simplest way on code behind that would automatically post a constant value (selecteditem) once the first ddl clicks on 1 or 2....
Example is
lst DDL Second ddl
ABC bko
DWC loct
qwe jjjj
Now when ABC is clicked... it should automatically bring out JJJ on the second ddl.... I just want something i can do on code behind.
