I am reading a tutorial article on this site about Partial Rendering using ScriptManager.EnablePartialRendering - [URL] The article uses button_click to demonstrate Partial Rendering without full page reload. I copy exactly the same codes but everytime I click the button the page refreshes.
I have examined after the page is loaded - ScriptManager1.EnablePartialRendering = true ScriptManager1.SupportsPartialRendering = true I am using vs2005 .NET 2.0 and AJAX extension 1.0 (same version as used in the article)
I have an ajax calendar in the middle of my page. I already wrapped it in a div with position:relative but the calendar doesn't show up unless the scrollbar is at the bottom.

I am using jquery fullcalender..
I want to bind Events to each days of the calender dynamically from the json return by the ajax method..
I am using Framework 2.0, ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 and Visual Studio 2005.I am using 2 Ajax Calendar Extender in my page. I am using a text box and html image control and setting the TargetControlID to the test box id and the PopupButtonID to the image control name. When i click the first image the calendar pops up and without choosing a date if i click the second image the second calendar control opens on top of the first calendar control. Is there any way i can make the previous one disappear without choosing a date leaving the calendar control associated with the last image clicked.
View 2 RepliesI want to re-render my calendar control when selecting a new month, is this possible without making a full postback? The reasonfor this is that I mark different dates with different background colors in the calendar, and I want to do this for the newly selected month aswell.
View 5 RepliesI can't seem to get rid of this extra space in IE7. (IE8 I could, but I need to support IE7) The grey area is the same size as the blue area... If I align the title to "bottom" then I get the full size of the grey area above the title. Align to "top" and the grey area is below the blue. Usign the default, the grey area is split above and below as indicated int he screenshot.
How can i get rid of the grey? I just want the blue area. I've tried setting hte title height to 0px, but that does nothing. But if I set the height to something large, such as 200px, then I get 200px of blue and 200px of grey.
I am using the ajax toolkit calendar extender control with the asp.net button for the postback event. the functionality is after selecting the date, clicking on the submit button will call the button event. now I need to obtain the same thing without clicking the button and on the date selection. ie, on selecting or closing the calendar control the postback event has to fire. how too obtain this? calendar and the button are placed in the user control.
View 8 RepliesI am looking for a asp.net control that will display a full year in a grid format, with each month as a row and each day in the month as the columns. I have found the following classic ASP script which produces the correct format: http://www.livio.net/code/calendar_36/CalendarTestYearly36.asp?infomode=HELP (see Yearly Calendar)Is anything like this available or is there a way to do this simply without a specific control? I am new to asp.net.

View 1 RepliesCurrently, I am using Calendar control on ASPX page. Instead, I want to use AJAX Calendar Extender control because of the animation effect and the way it moves between years making if much more impressive than Calendar control. Is it possible to display Calendar extender on page permanently, just like Calendar control?

View 1 RepliesIn Google Chrome Microsoft Report viewer doesn't display properly.
View 1 RepliesI have an external javascript file which I include to my page on the code behind (as seen below).
My problem is, when I my page makes a postback (not partial one), I check the loaded scripts by using FireBug, and I cannot see the javascript file in the list after the post back. I asusmed once it is included to page on the first load, browser will be caching it so that I do not need to re-include it.
What am I doing wrong?

I have the following hyperlink code that opens a new browser window to display a page. The page (browser) opens not full size (maybe something like 500x500). How can I modify this code to make the new browser window open full-size?

I want a browser to go full screen as soon as my page loads. Is it possible in javascript. I know the shortcut key for this F11 but requirement is on page load only.
After reading the solution provided below. I achieved full screen but here i got a trap. I was using timer to make my page postback to get fresh data after every 5 second. And here I found after every 5 sec new window opens up but I want full screen to go only once and next time content gets refreshed there itself.
I am just playing with custom controls, and have one built that looks like so:

I'm pretty sure its the Rendering / CreateChildren process that I'm not doing right. Problem is I cant find a good example that shows how to rerender your usercontrol when something needs updating.
I've successfully created a but of C# code to create a VCS calendar file, but I can't find anywhere where to set this as an 'all day event'.Has anyone been able to do this, or is it not an option in VCS?

View 3 RepliesI've got two websites. One is a copy of the other, I even went ahead and remade a copy of the original a second time hoping it would alleviate the issue I'm having but it didn't.
On both pages I have a calendar so the route is
Csharp Code:
[code]....
The issue is on the original site /Calendar works. It shows the Calendar page with the current month. On the copy site /Calendar gives a 404 but /Calendar/Index shows the Calendar page with the current month.
